[Machine] The greater pilgrimage is the day of sacrifice, and the lesser pilgrimage is Umrah. It has been narrated in this regard from the Prophet ﷺ.  

البيهقي:٨٧٧٠ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبدِ الرَّحْمَنِ السُّلَمِيُّ أنبأ عَلِيُّ بْنُ عُمَرَ الْحَافِظُ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَحْمُودٍ الْوَاسِطِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ مَرْوَانَ ثنا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ ثنا وَرْقَاءُ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ شَدَّادٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ

الْحَجُّ الْأَكْبَرُ يَوْمُ النَّحْرِ وَالْحَجُّ الْأَصْغَرُ الْعُمْرَةُ وَقَدْ رُوِيَ فِي هَذَا عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ
