we took a bath while having an adhesive substance over us (our head) in both states, namely, when wearing a robe for Hajj (ihram) and when wearing ordinary clothes (not meant for Hajj). (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 254)   

البيهقي:٨٦٠ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْمُقْرِئُ أنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ ثنا يُوسُفُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ الْقَاضِي ثنا نَصْرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ دَاوُدَ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ سُوَيْدٍ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ بِنْتِ طَلْحَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ

كُنَّا نَغْتَسِلُ وَعَلَيْنَا الضِّمَادُ وَنَحْنُ مَعَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مُحِلَّاتٌ وَمُحْرِمَاتٌ
