[Machine] If you wake up intending to fast, then you are in one of two conditions: if you wish, you can observe fasting; and if you wish, you can break your fast.

البيهقي:٨٣٥١ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ شَاذَانَ بِبَغْدَادَ أنبأ حَمْزَةُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْعَبَّاسِ ثنا عَبَّاسُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ثنا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ يَعْنِي ابْنَ مُوسَى أنبأ إِسْرَائِيلُ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ أَبِي الْأَحْوَصِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ

إِذَا أَصْبَحْتَ وَأَنْتَ تَنْوِي الصِّيَامَ فَأَنْتَ بِأَحَدِ النَّظَرَيْنِ إِنْ شِئْتَ صُمْتَ وَإِنْ شِئْتَ أَفْطَرْتَ
