[Machine] Umar said, "Leave, for Friday does not prevent one from traveling." Ath-Thawri narrated it from Al-Aswad, who said that Umar saw a man who wanted to travel on Friday and was waiting for Friday. Umar said, "What did he say?"  

البيهقي:٥٦٥٤أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ الْمُزَكِّي فِي آخَرِينَ قَالُوا ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ أنبأ الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ أنبأ الشَّافِعِيُّ أنبأ سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنِ الْأَسْوَدِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ أَبْصَرَ عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ ؓ رَجُلًا عَلَيْهِ هَيْئَةُ السَّفَرِ فَسَمِعَهُ يَقُولُ لَوْلَا أَنَّ الْيَوْمَ يَوْمُ جُمُعَةٍ لَخَرَجْتُ فَقَالَ

عُمَرُ ؓ اخْرُجْ فَإِنَّ الْجُمُعَةَ لَا تَحْبِسُ عَنْ سَفَرٍ وَرَوَاهُ الثَّوْرِيُّ عَنِ الْأَسْوَدِ فَقَالَ فِيهِ رَأَى رَجُلًا يُرِيدُ السَّفَرَ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ وَهُوَ يَنْتَظِرُ الْجُمُعَةَ فَقَالَ عُمَرُ مَا قَالَ
