[Machine] "That Muadh ibn Jabal informed them that they went out with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ for the Battle of Tabuk. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ would combine Zuhr, Asr, Maghrib, and Isha prayers, then delay one prayer and go out and offer Zuhr and Asr prayers, then enter (his house), then go out and offer Maghrib and Isha prayers together. They are both reported in the same wording of the narration."  

البيهقي:٥٥٢٦أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ الْمُزَكِّي ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ أنبأ الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ أنبأ الشَّافِعِيُّ أنبأ مَالِكٌ ح وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الرُّوذْبَارِيُّ أنبأ أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ دَاسَةَ ثنا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ثنا الْقَعْنَبِيُّ عَنْ مَالِكٍ عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ الْمَكِّيِّ عَنْ أَبِي الطُّفَيْلِ عَامِرِ بْنِ وَاثِلَةَ

أَنَّ مُعَاذَ بْنَ جَبَلٍ ؓ أَخْبَرَهُمْ أَنَّهُمْ خَرَجُوا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ غَزْوَةَ تَبُوكَ فَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَجْمَعُ بَيْنَ الظُّهْرِ وَالْعَصْرِ وَالْمَغْرِبِ وَالْعِشَاءِ وَأَخَّرَ الصَّلَاةَ يَوْمًا ثُمَّ خَرَجَ فَصَلَّى الظُّهْرَ وَالْعَصْرَ ثُمَّ دَخَلَ ثُمَّ خَرَجَ فَصَلَّى الْمَغْرِبَ وَالْعِشَاءَ جَمِيعًا لَفْظُ حَدِيثِهِمَا سَوَاءٌ

They (the Companions) proceeded on the expedition of Tabuk along with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. He combined the noon and afternoon prayers and the sunset and night prayers. One day he delayed the prayer and came out (of his dwelling) and combined the noon and the afternoon prayers. He then went it and then came out and combined the sunset and the night prayers.
