[Machine] He said, "If the prostration (sujood) is at the end of the surah, then he may choose to perform a bowing (raka'a) or prostration (sujood)."

البيهقي:٣٧٦٣ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ وَأَبُو سَعِيدِ بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرٍو قَالَا ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ ثنا أُسَيْدُ بْنُ عَاصِمٍ ثنا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ حَفْصٍ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنِ الْأَسْوَدِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ

أَنَّهُ قَالَ إِذَا كَانَتِ السَّجْدَةُ فِي آخِرِ السُّورَةِ فَإِنْ شَاءَ رَكَعَ وَإِنْ شَاءَ سَجَدَ
