bayhaqi:3043 – Abū ʿAlī al-Rūdhbārī > Muḥammad b. Bakr > Abū Dāwud > Abū Tawbah al-Rabīʿ b. Nāfiʿ > ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz b. ʿAbd al-Malik al-Qurashī > ʿAṭāʾ al-Khurāsānī > al-Mughīrah b. Shuʿbah

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The imam should not pray in the place where he has prayed until he moves." Abu Dawood said, "Ata' Al-Khurasani did not catch up with Al-Mughirah bin Shu'bah."

البيهقي:٣٠٤٣ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الرُّوذْبَارِيُّ أنبأ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ ثنا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ثنا أَبُو تَوْبَةَ الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ نَافِعٍ ثنا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ الْقُرَشِيُّ ثنا عَطَاءٌ الْخُرَاسَانِيُّ عَنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ شُعْبَةَ ؓ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَا يُصَلِّي الْإِمَامُ فِي الْمَوْضِعِ الَّذِي صَلَّى فِيهِ حَتَّى يَتَحَوَّلَ قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ عَطَاءٌ الْخُرَسَانِيُّ لَمْ يُدْرِكِ الْمُغِيرَةَ بْنَ شُعْبَةَ

abudawud:616 – Abū Tawbah al-Rabīʿ b. Nāfiʿ > ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz b. ʿAbd al-Malik al-Qurashī > ʿAṭāʾ al-Khurāsānī > al-Mughīrah b. Shuʿbah

The Prophet ﷺ said: The Imam should not pray at the place where he led the prayer until he removes (from there). Abu Dawud said: 'Ata' al-Khurasani did not see Mughirah b. Shu'bah (This tradition is, therefore munqati', i.e. a link is missing in the chain).
