[Machine] That the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , stood to pray in the Mosque of Bani Abd al-Ashhal and he had a wrapped garment on him, he placed his hand on it to protect himself from the cold of the floor, and it was narrated with a weak chain of narration.

البيهقي:٢٦٧٥ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ الْقَطَّانُ بِبَغْدَادَ أنبأ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ دَرَسْتَوَيْهِ ثنا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أَبِي أُوَيْسٍ حَدَّثَنِي إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ ثَابِتِ بْنِ صَامِتٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَامَ يُصَلِّي فِي مَسْجِدِ بَنِي عَبْدِ الْأَشْهَلِ وَعَلَيْهِ كِسَاءٌ مُلْتَفٌّ بِهِ يَضَعُ يَدَهُ عَلَيْهِ يَقِيهِ بَرْدَ الْحَصَا وَرُوِيَ بِإِسْنَادٍ آخَرَ ضَعِيفٍ

It was narrated from ‘Abdullah bin ‘Abdur-Rahman bin Thabit bin Samit, from his father, from his grandfather, that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ performed prayer among Banu ‘Abdul-Ashhal, wearing a cloak in which he was wrapped and putting his hands on it to protect them from the cold of the pebbles.
