[Machine] The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , used to say when he initiated prayer: "Exalted are You, O Allah, and praise be to You. Blessed is Your name and exalted is Your Majesty. There is no deity besides You. I direct my face to the One who created the heavens and the earth, following His pure religion, and I am not of the polytheists. Verily, my prayer, my sacrifice, my living, and my dying are for Allah, the Lord of the worlds. He has no partner. And Abu Abdur-Rahman As-Sulami narrated to us that Abu Sahl Al-Isfiriyyani informed us, who was informed by Dawud bin Al-Husayn Al-Bayhaqi, who was informed by Ibrahim bin Ya'qub Al-Jawzajani, who was informed by Abu Ishaq, and he mentioned it in a similar manner except that he said: and he narrated it from Jaber bin A, and he said: Blessed is Your name, and the Everlasting are equal. And Abdullah bin Amer Al-Aslami narrated it, and he is weak, from Muhammad bin Al-Munkadir, from Ibn Umar."  

رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ إِذَا اسْتَفْتَحَ الصَّلَاةَ قَالَ سُبْحَانَكَ اللهُمَّ وَبِحَمْدِكَ وَتَبَارَكَ اسْمُكَ وَتَعَالَى جَدُّكَ وَلَا إِلَهَ غَيْرُكَ وَجَّهْتُ وَجْهِي لِلَّذِي فَطَرَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ حَنِيفًا وَمَا أَنَا مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ إِنَّ صَلَاتِي وَنُسُكِي وَمَحْيَايَ وَمَمَاتِي لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ 2352 وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ السُّلَمِيُّ أنبأ أَبُو سَهْلٍ الْإِسْفِرَايِينِيُّ ثنا دَاوُدُ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ الْبَيْهَقِيُّ ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ الْجَوْزَجَانِيُّ ثنا أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ فَذَكَرَهُ بِنَحْوِهِ إِلَّا أَنَّهُ قَالَ ثنا جَابِرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ وَقَالَ تَبَارَكَ اسْمُكَ وَالْبَاقِي سَوَاءٌ وَرَوَاهُ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَامِرٍ الْأَسْلَمِيُّ وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُنْكَدِرِ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ
