bayhaqi:2353Abū Bakr Muḥammad b. al-Ḥasan b. Fūrak > ʿAbdullāh b. Jaʿfar > Yūnus b. Ḥabīb > Abū Dāwud > Shuʿbah > ʿAmr b. Murrah > ʿĀṣim al-ʿAnazī > Ibn Jubayr b. Muṭʿim from his father

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ entered the prayer and raised his hands saying "Allahu Akbar" three times, then said "Praise be to Allah" three times, then said "Glory be to Allah in the morning and in the evening" three times, then sought refuge in Allah from the accursed Satan and his blowing, spitting, and whispering. Abu Al-Hasan Ibn 'Abdan reported to us that Ahmad Ibn 'Ubaid Al-Saffar reported to us that Abu Muslim Ibrahim Ibn 'Abdullah reported to us that Abu Al-Walid reported to us that Shu'bah mentioned it with its meaning, except that he said, "O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the accursed Satan." 'Umar added, "And his blowing is old age, his spitting is death, and his whispering is poetry." Yazid Ibn Harun narrated it from Mis'ar, and Shu'bah narrated it from 'Umar, and a man from Anazah named 'Asim narrated it from Nafi 'Ibn Jubayr from his father from the Prophet ﷺ in the meaning of the Hadith of Abu Dawood. He added the explanation, except that he did not attribute it to 'Umar, but it was said: What is his whisper? He said, "Death that takes the son of Adam." It was said: What is his blowing? He said, "Old age." It was said: What is his spitting? He said, "Poetry." Abu 'Abdullah Al-Hafiz reported to us that Muhammad Ibn 'Abdullah Al-Saffar reported to us that Al-Harith Ibn Muhammad reported to us that Yazid Ibn Harun reported to us that Mis'ar and Shu'bah mentioned it.
