البيهقي:٢٠٤٨٢ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ الْقَطَّانُ بِبَغْدَادَ أنبأ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ثنا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ ثنا زَيْدُ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ الصَّنْعَانِيُّ وَكَانَ مِنَ الْخِيَارِ قَالَ ثنا وَكِيعٌ ثنا أَبُو الْعُمَيْسِ عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ ؓ

أَنَّهُ لَمَّا أَتَى أَرْضَ الْحَبَشَةِ أَخَذَ بِشَيْءٍ فَتَعَلَّقَ بِهِ فَأَعْطَى دِينَارَيْنِ حَتَّى خُلِّيَ سَبِيلُهُ
