[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever takes an oath by a verse from the Quran, then he must expiate for every verse, whether he fulfills it or breaks it, if he wishes, by doing good, or if he wishes, by doing evil."

البيهقي:١٩٨٩٨ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الرُّوذْبَارِيُّ أنبأ أَبُو مُحَمَّدِ بْنُ شَوْذَبَ الْوَاسِطِيُّ ثنا شُعَيْبُ بْنُ أَيُّوبَ ثنا أَبُو دَاوُدَ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ يُونُسَ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَنْ حَلَفَ بِسُورَةٍ مِنَ الْقُرْآنِ فَعَلَيْهِ بِكُلِّ آيَةِ كَفَّارَةٌ إِنْ شَاءَ بَرَّ وَإِنْ شَاءَ فَجَرَ
