البيهقي:١٧١٤٧ – وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ الْمِهْرَجَانِيُّ أنبأ أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ثنا ابْنُ بُكَيْرٍ ثنا مَالِكٌ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ أَبِي الرِّجَالِ عَنْ أُمِّهِ عَمْرَةَ بِنْتِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ أَنَّ رَجُلَيْنِ اسْتَبَّا فِي زَمَنِ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ ؓ فَقَالَ أَحَدُهُمَا لِلْآخَرِ مَا أَبِي بِزَانٍ وَلَا أُمِّي بِزَانِيَةٍ فَاسْتَشَارَ فِي ذَلِكَ عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ ؓ فَقَالَ قَائِلٌ مَدَحَ أَبَاهُ وَأُمَّهُ وَقَالَ آخَرُونَ كَانَ لِأَبِيهِ وَأُمِّهِ مَدْحٌ سِوَى هَذَا نَرَى

أَنْ تَجْلِدَهُ الْحَدَّ فَجَلَدَهُ عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ ؓ الْحَدَّ ثَمَانِينَ
