[Machine] And Sulaiman ibn Shuayb al-Kisani said, "I saw Muhammad ibn Idris al-Shafi'i dyeing his beard with henna."  

البيهقي:١٤٨٢٦ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ بَحْرَ بْنَ نَصْرٍ يَقُولُ كَانَ الشَّافِعِيُّ رَحِمَهُ اللهُ يَخْضِبُ

وَقَالَ سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ شُعَيْبٍ الْكِيسَانِيُّ رَأَيْتُ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ إِدْرِيسَ الشَّافِعِيَّ يَخْضِبُ لِحْيَتَهُ بِالْحِنَّاءِ
