[Machine] Umar ibn Al-Khattab said: "Any woman whom the guardian or guardians did not marry, her marriage is invalid."  

البيهقي:١٣٦٣٧أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ بْنُ بِشْرَانَ بِبَغْدَادَ أنبأ إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الصَّفَّارُ ثنا سَعْدَانُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ ثنا مُعَاذُ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ عَنْ عِمْرَانَ الْقَصِيرِ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ قَالَ

قَالَ عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ ؓ أَيُّمَا امْرَأَةٍ لَمْ يُنْكِحْهَا الْوَلِيُّ أَوِ الْوُلَاةُ فَنِكَاحُهَا بَاطِلٌ
