5. Ṣalāh of Fear (Khawf)
[Machine] I gave the Prophet ﷺ a pair of gold cufflinks, and he divided them among his companions. Makhrama said to me, "O my son, come with us to the Prophet ﷺ so that we may receive a share from them." So he told me to enter and call upon the Prophet ﷺ . The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came out to us wearing a cloak made of it, and he said, "Here, O Makhrama, this is what we have kept for you."
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ used to divide portions of meat, flavored with gold, and that news reached Makhrimah ibn Nawfal, the father of Al-Miswar. So he sent his son Al-Miswar to the Prophet ﷺ , who came and stood at the door and said, "Invite me." The Prophet ﷺ heard him and brought out a portion of meat for him, saying, "I have saved this for you, O Abu Miswar, I have saved this for you, O Abu Miswar."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah sent an army to Ukaider Duma, and he sent with them a robe made of woven brocade with gold. The Messenger of Allah wore it and the people would touch it and look at it. The Prophet said, "Are you amazed by this robe?" They said, "O Messenger of Allah, we have never seen a garment more beautiful than it." He said, "By Allah, the handkerchiefs of Sa'd in Paradise are more beautiful than what you see."
[Machine] The passage translates to: "That Ukaydirah Dumatah gave a cloak to the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. Sa'id thought he said it was silk. Sundus said: 'That was before the prohibition of silk.' He wore it and people admired it. He said: 'By the One in whose hand is my soul, the handkerchiefs of Sa'd in Paradise are better than this.' This was mentioned in Sahih from another point of view, narrated by Qatadah without the phrase that Sa'id bin Abi 'Arubah narrated it before the prohibition of silk and it is closer to being correct than the narration of whoever narrated it. Buhari said: Sa'id narrated it from Qatadah from Anas that Ukaydirah Dumatah gave a gift to the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ from the polytheists, except that its Matn was not mentioned."
