[Machine] As for his strength, he was able to lift the stone on his own, and only ten people could lift it with him. And as for his trustworthiness, he said to her, "Walk behind me and describe the path to me; do not describe your body to me." And Abu Abdullah Al-Hafiz narrated to us that Abu Abdullah Muhammad ibn Abdullah Al-Saffar narrated to us that Ahmad ibn Mihran Al-Asbahani narrated to us that Ubaidullah ibn Musa narrated to us that Israel mentioned it and added, saying, "I want to marry one of my daughters to you in return for you hiring me for eight pilgrimages. If you complete ten, it is from you, and I do not want to make things difficult for you. You will find me, Allah willing, among the righteous." [Al-Qasas 27]. Meaning, in good companionship and fulfilling what I said. Musa said, "This is between you and me, whichever of the two terms I complete, there will be no injustice upon me." [Al-Qasas 28]. He said, "Yes, and Allah is a witness to what we say." [Al-Qasas 28]. So he married him and lived with him, which was sufficient for him, and he worked for him in tending to his sheep.

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was asked, "Which of the two was fulfilled by Musa (Moses)?" He replied, "The farthest and the best of them."
سُئِلَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أِيُّ الْأَجَلَيْنِ قَضَى مُوسَى؟ قَالَ أَبْعَدَهُمَا وَأَطْيَبَهُمَا
[Machine] Sufyan, may Allah have mercy on him, who was one of my teachers, was a righteous man. He narrated from Al-Hakam ibn Aban, who narrated from Ikrimah, who narrated from Ibn Abbas, that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "I asked Gabriel, ﷺ , which of the two appointed times did Moses, ﷺ , fulfill?" He said, "He fulfilled both of them and completed them."
The Prophet ﷺ said, "While three men were walking, It started raining and they took shelter (refuge) in a cave in a mountain. A big rock rolled down from the mountain and closed the mouth of the cave. They said to each other, "Think of good deeds which you did for Allah's sake only, and invoke Allah by giving reference to those deeds so that He may remove this rock from you." One of them said, 'O Allah! I had old parents and small children and I used to graze the sheep for them. On my return to them in the evening, I used to milk (the sheep) and start providing my parents first of all before my children. One day I was delayed and came late at night and found my parents sleeping. I milked (the sheep) as usual and stood by their heads. I hated to wake them up and disliked to give milk to my children before them, although my children were weeping (because of hunger) at my feet till the day dawned. O Allah! If I did this for Your sake only, kindly remove the rock so that we could see the sky through it.' So, Allah removed the rock a little and they saw the sky. The second man said, 'O Allah! I was in love with a cousin of mine like the deepest love a man may have for a woman. I wanted to outrage her chastity but she refused unless I gave her one hundred Dinars. So, I struggled to collect that amount. And when I sat between her legs, she said, 'O Allah's slave! Be afraid of Allah and do not deflower me except rightfully (by marriage).' So, I got up. O Allah! If I did it for Your sake only, please remove the rock.' The rock shifted a little more. Then the third man said, 'O Allah! I employed a laborer for a Faraq of rice and when he finished his job and demanded his right, I presented it to him, but he refused to take it. So, I sowed the rice many time till I gathered cows and their shepherd (from the yield). (Then after some time) He came and said to me, 'Fear Allah (and give me my right)." I said, 'Go and take those cows and the shepherd.' He said, 'Be afraid of Allah! Don't mock at me.' I said, 'I am not mocking at you. Take (all that).' So, he took all that. O Allah! If I did that for Your sake only, please remove the rest of the rock.' So, Allah removed the rock." (Using translation from Bukhārī 2333)

The Prophet ﷺ and Abu Bakr employed a (pagan) man from the tribe of Bani Ad-Dail and the tribe of Bani 'Abu bin ʿAdi as a guide. He was an expert guide and he broke the oath contract which he had to abide by with the tribe of Al-ʿAsi bin Wail and he was on the religion of Quraish pagans. The Prophet ﷺ and Abu Bakr had confidence in him and gave him their riding camels and told him to bring them to the Cave of Thaur after three days. So, he brought them their two riding camels after three days and both of them (The Prophet ﷺ and Abu Bakr) set out accompanied by 'Amir bin Fuhaira and the Dili guide who guided them below Mecca along the road leading to the sea-shore. The Prophet ﷺ said, "Your example and the example of the people of the two Scriptures (i.e. Jews and Christians) is like the example of a man who employed some laborers and asked them, 'Who will work for me from morning till midday for one Qirat?' The Jews accepted and carried out the work. He then asked, Who will work for me from midday up to the ʿAsr prayer for one Qirat?' The Christians accepted and fulfilled the work. He then said, 'Who will work for me from the ʿAsr till sunset for two Qirats?' You, Muslims have accepted the offer. The Jews and the Christians got angry and said, 'Why should we work more and get lesser wages?' (Allah) said, 'Have I withheld part of your right?' They replied in the negative. He said, 'It is My Blessing, I bestow upon whomever I wish .' (Using translation from Bukhārī 2268)

I heard Messenger of Allah ﷺ while he was standing on the pulpit, saying, "The remaining period of your stay (on the earth) in comparison to the nations before you, is like the period between the ʿAsr prayer and sunset. The people of the Torah were given the Torah and they acted upon it till midday, and then they were worn out and were given for their labor, one Qirat each. Then the people of the Gospel were given the Gospel and they acted upon it till the time of the ʿAsr prayer, and then they were worn out and were given (for their labor), one Qirat each. Then you people were given the Qur'an and you acted upon it till sunset and so you were given two Qirats each (double the reward of the previous nations)." Then the people of the Torah said, 'O our Lord! These people have done a little labor (much less than we) but have taken a greater reward.' Allah said, 'Have I withheld anything from your reward?' They said, 'No.' Then Allah said, 'That is My Favor which I bestow on whom I wish.' " (Using translation from Bukhārī 7467)

The Prophet ﷺ said, "The example of Muslims, Jews and Christians is like the example of a man who employed laborers to work for him from morning till night for specific wages. They worked till midday and then said, 'We do not need your money which you have fixed for us and let whatever we have done be annulled.' The man said to them, 'Don't quit the work, but complete the rest of it and take your full wages.' But they refused and went away. The man employed another batch after them and said to them, 'Complete the rest of the day and yours will be the wages I had fixed for the first batch.' So, they worked till the time of ʿAsr prayer. Then they said, "Let what we have done be annulled and keep the wages you have promised us for yourself.' The man said to them, 'Complete the rest of the work, as only a little of the day remains,' but they refused. Thereafter he employed another batch to work for the rest of the day and they worked for the rest of the day till the sunset, and they received the wages of the two former batches. So, that was the example of those people (Muslims) and the example of this light (guidance) which they have accepted willingly. (Using translation from Bukhārī 2271)

[Machine] The Prophet Muhammad, ﷺ , used to order us to give charity. So one of us would go to the marketplace to collect donations. Some of them would bring back only a handful, while others would bring back up to a hundred thousand. And what I see is that each person only looks out for themselves.

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ had a specific occurrence, which Ali heard about. Ali then went out seeking an action that would enable him to attain something, which he could then present to the Prophet ﷺ. He came across a Jewish man's orchard and fetched him seventeen buckets, each filled with dates. The Jewish man allowed Ali to choose seventeen dates for himself, and Ali brought them to the Prophet ﷺ. The Prophet ﷺ asked, "Where did you get these, O Abu Hasan?" Ali replied, "I heard about the special occurrence that befell you, O Prophet of Allah, so I went out seeking an action to obtain food for you." The Prophet ﷺ asked, "And did the love of Allah and His Messenger inspire you to do this?" Ali replied, "Yes, O Prophet of Allah." The Prophet ﷺ then said, "By Allah, there is no servant who loves Allah and His Messenger except that poverty will come to him quicker than a flowing current on his face. Whoever loves Allah and His Messenger, let him be prepared for hardship, and by this, it means patience." It is narrated by Yazid ibn Ziyad from Muhammad ibn Ka'ab, who said, "I was told by someone who heard Ali ibn Abi Talib mention part of the meaning of this story."
[Machine] {So turn away from them; you are not to be blamed} [Surah Adh-Dhariyat, 54]. None of us remained except that they were certain of their imminent destruction, when the Prophet ﷺ was commanded to turn away from us upon the revelation of this verse. Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) mentioned that he passed by a woman from the Ansar and there was clay in front of her door. So I said to her, "Do you want me to wet this clay?" She said, "Yes." So I made a condition with her that for every sin, I wet it with a date. So I wet it for her and she gave me sixteen dates. I then brought them to the Prophet ﷺ . It is also narrated from Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her) regarding Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) in the dispute with a Jewish man. It is also narrated from Abu Hurairah regarding a man of unknown identity in terms of drawing water with a bucket filled with dates.
