ahmad:839 – Muḥammad b. Jaʿfar > Shuʿbah > Salamah b. Kuhayl > al-Shaʿbī > ʿAlī Jalad Sharāḥah Yawm al-Khamīs And Rajamahā Yawm al-Jumuʿah

I flogged her in accordance with the Book of Allah and stoned her in accordance with the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.

أحمد:٨٣٩ – حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ كُهَيْلٍ عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ

أَنَّ عَلِيًّا جَلَدَ شَرَاحَةَ يَوْمَ الْخَمِيسِ وَرَجَمَهَا يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ وَقَالَ أَجْلِدُهَا بِكِتَابِ اللهِ وَأَرْجُمُهَا بِسُنَّةِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ

ahmad:716 – Ḥusayn b. Muḥammad > Shuʿbah > Salamah And al-Mujālid > al-Shaʿbī > Umā Samiʿāh

It was narrated from Salimah and Mujalid, from ash-Shaʿbi, that they heard him narrate that ‘Ali ؓ said concerning a woman from Koofah who he had flogged on Thursday and stoned on Friday. I flogged her in accordance with the Book of Allah and stoned her in accordance with the Sunnah of the Prophet of Allah ﷺ.

أحمد:٧١٦ – حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ سَلَمَةَ وَالْمُجَالِدُ عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ أَنَّهُمَا سَمِعَاهُ

يُحَدِّثُأَنَّ عَلِيًّا حِينَ رَجَمَ الْمَرْأَةَ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْكُوفَةِ ضَرَبَهَا يَوْمَ الْخَمِيسِ وَرَجَمَهَا يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ وَقَالَ أَجْلِدُهَا بِكِتَابِ اللهِ وَأَرْجُمُهَا بِسُنَّةِ نَبِيِّ اللهِ ﷺ

"عَنْ الشَّعْبِىِّ أَنَّ عَلِيّا جَلَدَ شَرَاحَةَ يَوْمَ الخَمِيسِ، وَرَجَمَهَا يَوْمَ الجُمُعَةِ وَقَالَ: اجْلِدُهَا بِكِتَابِ الله، وَأَرْجُمُهَا بِسُنَّةِ نَبىِّ الله ﷺ ".
