AHMAD 11822:
from Abū Saʿīd al-Khudrī —
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade excessive proximity, and said, "Whoever does not have a need for proximity, let him maintain distance from sorcery to sorcery." It was said, "O Messenger of Allah, you practice proximity." He replied, "I am not like you. I have a sustainer who feeds me and a leg that quenches my thirst."

عن ابو سعيد الخدري —
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ نَهَى عَنِ الْوِصَالِ فَقَالَ مَنْ لَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ بُدٌّ مِنَ الْوِصَالِ فَلْيُوَاصِلْ مِنَ السَّحَرِ إِلَىالسَّحَرِ قِيلَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنَّكَ تُوَاصِلُ قَالَ إِنِّي لَسْتُ كَهَيْئَتِكُمْ إِنِّي أَبِيتُ لي مُطْعِمٌ يُطْعِمُنِي وَسَاقٍ يَسْقِينِي
