[Machine] The translation in English is: "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ fasted in Ramadan, and when people saw him, they advised against it. It was said to him, 'Indeed, you fast continuously.' He replied, 'I am not like you, for I am fed and given to drink.'"  

أحمد:٦٢٩٩حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ وَاصَلَ فِي رَمَضَانَ فَرَآهُ النَّاسُ فَنَهَاهُمْ فَقِيلَ لَهُ إِنَّكَ تُوَاصِلُ فَقَالَ إِنِّي لَسْتُمِثْلَكُمْ إِنِّي أُطْعَمُ وَأُسْقَى

The Prophet ﷺ fasted for days continuously; the people also did the same but it was difficult for them. So, the Prophet ﷺ forbade them (to fast continuously for more than one day). They slid, "But you fast without break (no food was taken in the evening or in the morning)." The Prophet ﷺ replied, "I am not like you, for I am provided with food and drink (by Allah).  

البخاري:١٩٢٢حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ حَدَّثَنَا جُوَيْرِيَةُ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ؓ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ وَاصَلَ فَوَاصَلَ النَّاسُ فَشَقَّ عَلَيْهِمْ فَنَهَاهُمْ قَالُوا إِنَّكَ تُوَاصِلُ قَالَ لَسْتُ كَهَيْئَتِكُمْ إِنِّي أَظَلُّ أُطْعَمُ وَأُسْقَى  

bukhari:1962ʿAbdullāh b. Yūsuf > Mālik > Nāfiʿ > ʿAbdullāh b. ʿUmar

Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade Al-Wisal. The people said (to him), "But you practice it?" He said, "I am not like you, for I am given food and drink by Allah."

abudawud:2360ʿAbdullāh b. Maslamah al-Qaʿnabī > Mālik > Nāfiʿ > Ibn ʿUmar

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prohibited perpetual fasting. They (the people) said: You keep perpetual fasting, Messenger of Allah. He said: My position is not like that you yours. I am provided with food and drink.  

أبو داود:٢٣٦٠حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مَسْلَمَةَ الْقَعْنَبِيُّ عَنْ مَالِكٍ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ نَهَى عَنِ الْوِصَالِ قَالُوا فَإِنَّكَ تُوَاصِلُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ إِنِّي لَسْتُ كَهَيْئَتِكُمْ إِنِّي أُطْعَمُ وَأُسْقَى  

malik:18-41Yaḥyá > Mālik > Nāfiʿ > ʿAbdullāh b. ʿUmar

Yahya related to me from Malik from Nafi from Abdullah ibn Umar that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade fasting for two days or more without breaking the fast in between. They said, "But Messenger of Allah, you practise wisal." He replied, "I am not the same as you. I am fed and given to drink."  

مالك:١٨-٤١حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى عَنْ مَالِكٍ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ

وَاصَلَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَوَاصَلَ النَّاسُ فَنَهَاهُمْ فَقَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ فَإِنَّكَ تُوَاصِلُ؟ فَقَالَ إِنِّي لَسْتُ كَهَيْئَتِكُمْ إِنِّي أُطْعَمُ وَأُسْقَى  

ahmad:11546ʿAbd al-Razzāq > Maʿmar > Abū ʿAmr al-Nadabī > Abū Saʿīd al-Khudrī

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Do not continue to ask." They said, "But you keep asking, O Messenger of Allah." He said, "I am not like you. I spend the night being fed and watered."  

أحمد:١١٥٤٦حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ أَبِي عَمْرٍو النَّدَبِيِّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيَّ يَقُولُ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَا تُوَاصِلُوا قَالُوا فَإِنَّكَ تُوَاصِلُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ قَالَ إِنِّي لَسْتُ مِثْلَكُمْ إِنِّي أَبِيتُ أُطْعَمُ وَأُسْقَى  

ahmad:4721Yaḥyá > ʿUbaydullāh > Nāfiʿ > ʿAbdullāh b. ʿUmar

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ continued to fast in Ramadan, so people continued to fast. They said, "You forbade us from fasting continuously, but you continue to fast." He said, "I am not like any of you. I am fed and offered drink."  

أحمد:٤٧٢١حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ حَدَّثَنِي نَافِعٌ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade intimacy during fasting, so I said to him, "Do you not engage in it?" He replied, "I am not like any of you. I spend the night being fed and watered."  

أحمد:٢٦٠٥٤حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرٍ عَاصِمٍ مَوْلًى لِقُرَيْبَةَ بِنْتِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ عَنْ قُرَيْبَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ نَهَى عَنِ الْوِصَالِ فِي الصَّوْمِفَقُلْتُ لَهُ إِنَّكَ تُوَاصِلُ؟ قَالَ إِنِّي لَسْتُ كَأَحَدٍ مِنْكُمْ إِنِّي أَبِيتُ أُطْعَمُ وَأُسْقَى  

nasai-kubra:3250ʿUbaydullāh b. Saʿīd > Yaḥyá > ʿUbaydullāh > Nāfiʿ > Ibn ʿUmar
