[Machine] "And you asked, was the Messenger of Allah ﷺ killing any of the young polytheists? Indeed, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ did not kill any of them, and you should not kill any of them unless you know from them what Al-Khidr knew from the young boy when he killed him."

أحمد:٣٢٠٠ – حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرُ بْنُ حَازِمٍ عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ هُرْمُزَ قَالَ كَتَبَ نَجْدَةُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ إِلَى ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ يَسْأَلُهُ عَنْ أَشْيَاءَ فَشَهِدْتُ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ حِينَ قَرَأَ كِتَابَهُ وَحِينَ كَتَبَ جَوَابَهُ فَكَتَبَ إِلَيْهِ إِنَّكَ سَأَلْتَنِي وَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ قَالَ

وَسَأَلْتَ هَلْ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَقْتُلُ مِنْ صِبْيَانِ الْمُشْرِكِينَ أَحَدًا؟ وَإِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ لَمْ يَكُنْ يَقْتُلُ مِنْهُمْ أَحَدًا وَأَنْتَ فَلَا تَقْتُلْ مِنْهُمْ أَحَدًا إِلَّا أَنْ تَكُونَ تَعْلَمُ مِنْهُمْ مَا عَلِمَ الْخَضِرُ مِنَ الْغُلَامِ حِينَ قَتَلَهُ

[Machine] Regarding the killing of infants, he wrote to him, "You are asking me about the killing of infants, and indeed, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ did not kill them. And you should not kill them unless you know from them what Moses' companion knew about the boy."
