[Machine] Her husband passed away, so she remained mourning for several nights. Subay'a (her friend) mentioned it to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , so he commanded her to remarry.  

أحمد:٢٦٦٧٥حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ أَنَّ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنَ يَسَارٍ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ أَبَا سَلَمَةَ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّهُ اجْتَمَعَ هُوَ وَابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ عِنْدَ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ فَبَعَثُوا كُرَيْبًا مَوْلَى ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ إِلَى أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ يَسْأَلُهَا فَذَكَرَتْ أُمُّ سَلَمَةَ أَنَّ سُبَيْعَةَ الْأَسْلَمِيَّةَ تُوُفِّيَ

عَنْهَا زَوْجُهَا فَنُفِسَتْ بَعْدَهُ بِلَيَالٍ فَذَكَرَتْ سُبَيْعَةُ ذَلِكَ لِرَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَأَمَرَهَاأَنْ تَتَزَوَّجَ
