[Machine] We were at the house of Abu Musa when he served his food, and he mentioned a story similar to the story of Zahdam's asceticism.  

أحمد:١٩٦٣٨ – حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ عَنْ زَهْدَمٍ الْجَرْمِيِّ قَالَ أَيُّوبُ وَحَدَّثَنِيهِ الْقَاسِمُ الْكَلْبِيُّ عَنْ زَهْدَمٍ قَالَ فَأَنَا لِحَدِيثِ الْقَاسِمِ أَحْفَظُ قَالَ

كُنَّا عِنْدَ أَبِي مُوسَى فَقَدَّمَ طَعَامَهُ فَذَكَرَ مِثْلَ حَدِيثِ زَهْدَمٍ
