ahmad:1175 – Aswad b. ʿĀmir > Shuʿbah > al-Ḥakam > Abū Muḥammad > ʿAlī

It was narrated that ‘Ali ؓ said that the Prophet ﷺ sent him to Madinah and ordered him to level the graves.  

أحمد:١١٧٥ – حَدَّثَنَا أَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ قَالَ الْحَكَمُ أَخْبَرَنِي عَنْ أَبِي مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ

بَعَثَهُ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ إِلَى الْمَدِينَةِ فَأَمَرَهُ أَنْ يُسَوِّيَ الْقُبُورَ
