[Machine] That Burayrah's husband was a black slave named Mughith. He said, "I used to see him following her in the streets of the city, pouring his eyes over her." He said, "The Prophet ﷺ ruled four rulings in her case. Her dependents had stipulated loyalty, so the Prophet ﷺ ruled loyalty for whoever freed her and gave her the option to choose for herself. She chose herself and the Prophet ﷺ commanded her to pay a charity. So she gave some of it to Aisha and she mentioned it to the Prophet ﷺ , so he said, 'It is a charity for her and a gift to us.'"

I am the master of the sons of Adam on the Day of Judgment, and there is no pride in it. I am the first one from whom the earth will split open, and there is no pride in it. They will come to Adam and say, 'O Adam, you are the one whom Allah created with His own hand and made you dwell in Paradise, and His angels prostrated to you. Intercede for us with our Lord so that He may judge between us.' Adam will say, 'I am not fit for this task; I have already committed a sin and I do not care for anyone today except myself. But go to Noah, the first of the messengers.' They will go to Noah and say, 'O Noah, you are the first of the messengers, and Allah called you a grateful servant. Intercede for us with our Lord so that He may judge between us.' Noah will say, 'I am not fit for this task; I had been invoking things that were not decreed by Allah, so go to Ibrahim, the friend of Allah.' They will go to Ibrahim and say, 'O Ibrahim, you are Allah's friend and His chosen Prophet. Intercede for us with our Lord so that He may judge between us.' Ibrahim will say, 'I am not fit for this task; I lied thrice.' They will then go to Musa and say, 'O Musa, you are Allah's messenger and the one to whom He gave the Torah. [Machine] The Prophet ﷺ went to the toilet and relieved himself. Then, food was brought to him and they asked him, "Shall we bring you ablution (wudu)?" He replied, "For what should I perform ablution? Should I do ablution to pray, or have I already prayed and need to do ablution?"

[Machine] I slept at my aunt Maymuna bint Al-Harith's house. Then, the Prophet ﷺ woke up during the night, went to attend to his needs, then came and washed his face and hands and went back to sleep. Then, he woke up during the night and came to Qibla (direction of prayer), untied his hair, made ablution, not excessive, and prayed. I disliked that he sees me spying on him, so I kept watching him. After that, I stood up and did the same as he did, and I stood on his left side. He held his earlobe until he turned me around, and I stood on his right side while he was praying. His prayer consisted of thirteen Rak'ahs, including the two Rak'ahs of Fajr prayer. Then, he lay down and slept until he snored, and then Bilal announced the prayer call (Adhan) to him. So, he stood up and prayed without performing ablution.

[Machine] I stayed at my aunt Maymuna's house and observed the Messenger of Allah ﷺ praying. He stood up and started washing his face and hands, then he laid down and slept. He woke up and went towards the place for prayer and untied his hair. Then he poured water in the jug or basin and cupped his hands with it. He then performed a good and excellent ablution between the two ablutions. He stood up to pray, and I stood on his left side, but he took hold of me and made me stand on his right side. The prayer of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ consisted of thirteen rak'ahs in total. Then he went back to sleep until he snored, and we recognized that he was asleep by his snoring. Then he went out for prayer and prayed, saying either in his prayer or in his prostration, "O Allah, place light in my heart, light in my hearing, light in my sight, light on my right, light on my left, light in front of me, light behind me, light above me, light below me, and make me a light." Shu'bah or someone else said, "Or he said, 'Place light for me.'" 'Amr ibn Dinar narrated from Kurayb from Ibn Abbas that he had slept while lying down.

[Machine] I heard Ibn Abbas saying, "My maternal aunt gifted a lamb to the Messenger of Allahﷺ including its fat, milk, and udp. When the Prophetﷺ saw the udp, Khalid bin Walid said, 'O Messenger of Allah, have you polluted yourself?' The Prophetﷺ replied, 'Yes, or rather, indeed.' Then the Prophetﷺ took the milk and drank from it. After that, he said to Ibn Abbas, who was on his right side, 'The drink is for you, but may I offer some to your uncle?' Ibn Abbas replied, 'No, by Allah, I will not allow anyone to take advantage of your generosity on my behalf.' The Prophetﷺ then took it and drank, and then gave it back to Ibn Abbas. Then the Prophetﷺ said, 'I do not know of a drink that can replace food other than milk. So whoever among you drinks it should say, 'O Allah, bless us in it and give us more, and whoever feeds with food should say, 'O Allah, bless us in it and give us something better than it.'"

[Machine] The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ stood out to fulfil his needs, then he returned and was brought a water jug. He did not perform ablution and drank from it. Umar ibn Al-Khattab added in this hadith that Sa'id ibn Al-Huwairith said: "It was said, O Messenger of Allah, you did not perform ablution." He replied, "I did not intend to pray, so I did not perform ablution."

"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to breathe twice in the drink when he drank, and my father wrote in the aftermath of this hadith that Abdullah did not hear this hadith."
[Machine] I hosted Maymunah, the Prophet's ﷺ wife and my aunt, on a night when she did not pray. She took a garment and tore it into pieces, then she threw it on me and threw another garment on me. She entered under the garment and spread a bedsheet next to her, and I laid down with her on her pillow. Then the Prophet ﷺ came after performing the last night prayer, took a piece of cloth, wrapped himself in it, threw his garment, and entered under the blanket with her. He slept until it was late in the night, then he stood up and went to a hanging water skin and moved it. I felt like standing up and pouring water on him, but I hesitated because I didn't want him to see me awake. He performed ablution, then approached the bed, took off his garments, and threw the cloth. He went to the mosque and stood there praying. I went to the water skin, performed ablution, and came to the mosque, standing on his left side. He motioned me to move to his right, and we both prayed thirteen units of prayer. Then he sat down, and I sat next to him on his side, resting my elbow next to mine, and he leaned his cheek against mine until I could hear the breath of the sleeper. While I was in this position, Bilal came and said, "O Messenger of Allah, it's time for prayer." He went to the mosque, and I followed him. He stood to pray the two units of dawn prayer, and Bilal recited the adhan.

Hujjaj narrated to us from Shu'bah on the authority of Abu Ishaq, on the authority of Abu Safar, on the authority of Sa'id ibn Shu'ayb, on the authority of Ibn Abbas, that they used to ask him about praying while traveling. So Ibn Abbas said, "The Prophet ﷺ used to only pray two units (rak'ahs) when he left his family until he returned."
