"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to breathe twice in the drink when he drank, and my father wrote in the aftermath of this hadith that Abdullah did not hear this hadith."

أحمد:٢٥٧١ – قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ وَجَدْتُ هَذِهِ الْأحَادِيثَ فِي كِتَابِ أَبِي بِخَطِّ يَدِهِ حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْوَرَّاقُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا رِشْدِينُ بْنُ كُرَيْبٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا شَرِبَ تَنَفَّسَ مَرَّتَيْنِ فِي الشَّرَابِ وَكَتَبَ أَبِي فِي إِثْرِ هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ لَا أُرَى عَبْدَ اللهِ سَمِعَ هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ
