Messenger of Allah ﷺ ate a piece of cooked mutton from the shoulder region and prayed without repeating ablution.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَكَلَ كَتِفَ شَاةٍ ثُمَّ صَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ took (meat of) goat's shoulder and offered prayer and did not perform ablution.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَكَلَ كَتِفَ شَاةٍ ثُمَّ صَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ took (the meat of) a (goat's) shoulder and offered prayer and did not perform ablution.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَكَلَ كَتِفَ شَاةٍ ثُمَّ صَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ

"Some meat from the shoulder of a sheep was brought to the Messenger of Allah and he ate some of it, then he performed prayer without touching water (for ablution)."

أُتِيَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ بِكَتِفِ شَاةٍ فَأَكَلَ مِنْهُ وَصَلَّى وَلَمْ يَمَسَّ مَاءً

[AI] That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ate meat or a tendon, then he prayed without touching water.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ أَكَلَ لَحْمًا أَوْ عَرْقًا فَصَلَّى وَلَمْ يَمَسَّ مَاءً

[AI] That the Prophet ﷺ ate the shoulder of a sheep, then he prayed without renewing his ablution.

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ أَكَلَ كَتِفَ شَاةٍ ثُمَّ صَلَّى وَلَمْ يُعِدِ الْوُضُوءَ

[AI] I saw the Messenger of Allah peace be upon him eating meat and then he stood up for prayer without touching water.

رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ أَكَلَ لَحْمًا ثُمَّ قَامَ إِلَى الصَّلَاةِ وَلَمْ يَمَسَّ مَاءً

[AI] I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ eating from the shoulder of a sheep, then he was invited to prayer and he prayed without performing ablution.

رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَأْكُلُ يَحْتَزُّ مِنْ كَتِفِ شَاةٍ ثُمَّ دُعِيَ إِلَى الصَّلَاةِ فَصَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ

[AI] I saw the Prophet ﷺ eating meat or something similar without rinsing his mouth or touching water, then he performed the prayer.

رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ أَكَلَ لَحْمًا أَوْ عَرْقًا فَلَمْ يُمَضْمِضْ وَلَمْ يَمَسَّ مَاءً فَصَلَّى

[AI] He said, "I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ eat a piece of meat, then he stood up and rinsed his mouth, then he performed prayer without performing ablution."

أَنَّهُ قَالَ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ أَكَلَ كَتِفًا ثُمَّ قَامَ فَمَضْمَضَ فَصَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ

Yahya related to me from Malik from Zayd Aslam from Ata ibn Yasar from Abdullah Abbas that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ate a shoulder of lamb and then prayed without doing wudu.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَكَلَ كَتِفَ شَاةٍ ثُمَّ صَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ ate from a shoulder, or he said, "Sweated from a rib," then he prayed without performing ablution.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَكَلَ مِنْ كَتِفٍ أَوْ قَالَ «تَعَرَّقَ مِنْ ضِلَعٍ» ثُمَّ صَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ took (the meat of) a (goat's) shoulder and offered prayer and did not perform ablution. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 187)

«رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَكَلَ عَرْقًا مِنْ شَاةٍ ثُمَّ صَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَمَضْمَضْ وَلَمْ يَمَسَّ مَاءً»

[AI] He said, "I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ eat a shoulder of a sheep and then pray without touching water."

أَنَّهُ قَالَ «رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ أَكَلَ كَتِفَ شَاةٍ ثُمَّ صَلَّى وَلَمْ يَمَسَّ مَاءً»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ ate a shoulder or meat, then he prayed without rinsing his mouth or touching water.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ أَكَلَ كَتِفًا أَوْ لَحْمًا ثُمَّ صَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَمَضْمَضْ وَلَمْ يَمَسَّ مَاءً

[AI] "I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ eating meat from the shoulder of a sheep, then he prayed without performing ablution."

«رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ أَكَلَ لَحْمًا مِنْ كَتِفِ شَاةٍ ثُمَّ صَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ»

[AI] "That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ate a shoulder and then prayed without touching water, and the wording is from the hadith of Yahya Al-Qattan."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ أَكَلَ كَتِفًا ثُمَّ صَلَّى وَلَمْ يَمَسَّ مَاءً وَاللَّفْظُ لِحَدِيثِ يَحْيَى الْقَطَّانِ

[AI] "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was brought a sheep's shoulder in the mosque, so he ate it, then he stood up for prayer without touching any water."

«أُتِيَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ بِكَتِفِ شَاةٍ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ فَأَكَلَهَا ثُمَّ قَامَ إِلَى الصَّلَاةِ وَلَمْ يَمَسَّ مَاءً»

«أُتِيَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ بِكَتِفِ شَاةٍ فَأَكَلَ مِنْهَا فَصَلَّى وَلَمْ يَمَسَّ مَاءً»

[AI] She saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ eating a shoulder and then he stood up for prayer without performing ablution.

أَنَّهَا «رَأَتْ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ أَكَلَ كَتِفًا ثُمَّ قَامَ إِلَى الصَّلَاةِ وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ»

[AI] She saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ eating bread and meat, and he prayed without performing ablution.

«أَنَّهَا رَأَتْ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ أَكَلَ خُبْزًا وَلَحْمًا وَصَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ»

[AI] "He said: I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ eating a piece of mutton, then he performed the prayer without rinsing his mouth or touching water. This hadith is recorded in Muslim's book from the narration of Hisham ibn 'Urwa."

أَنَّهُ قَالَ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَأْكُلُ عَرْقًا مِنْ شَاةٍ ثُمَّ صَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَمَضْمَضْ وَلَمْ يَمَسَّ مَاءً مُخَرَّجٌ فِي كِتَابِ مُسْلِمٍ مِنْ حَدِيثِ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ
