الزهد لأحمد:٦٩٩ – حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ السُّلَمِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ عُقْبَةَ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ الثَّوْرِيِّ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ قَيْسٍ قَالَ قِيلَ لِعَلِيٍّ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ «لِمَ تُرَقِّعُ قَمِيصَكَ؟» قَالَ

«يَخْشَعُ الْقَلْبُ وَيَقْتَدِي بِهِ الْمُؤْمِنُ»
