الزهد لأحمد:٦٣٣ – حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنَا أبِي حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ بُرْقَانَ عَنْ ثَابِتِ بْنِ الْحَجَّاجِ قَالَ قَالَ عُمَرُ رَحِمَهُ اللَّهُ «حَاسِبُوا أَنْفُسَكُمْ قَبْلَ أَنْ تُحَاسَبُوا وَزِنُوا أَنْفُسَكُمْ قَبْلَ أَنْ تُوزَنُوا فَإِنَّ أَهْوَنَ عَلَيْكُمْ فِي الْحِسَابِ غَدًا

أَنْ تُحَاسِبُوا أَنْفُسَكُمْ تَزِنُوا لِلْعَرْضِ الْأَكْبَرِ يَوْمَ تُعْرَضُونَ لَا تَخْفَى مِنْكُمْ خَافِيَةٌ»
