الزهد لأحمد:٦٣٤ – حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنِي أبِي حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ أَنْبَأَنَا مُجَالِدٌ عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ أَوْصَانِي عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ فَقَالَ

«إِذَا وَضَعْتَنِي فِي لَحْدِي فَأَفْضِ بِخَدِّي إِلَى الْأَرْضِ؛ حَتَّى لَا يَكُونَ بَيْنَ خَدِّي وَبَيْنَ الْأَرْضِ شَيْءٌ»
