[Machine] I sat with Salim ibn Abdullah and his clothes and shoes were worth thirteen or fifteen dirhams.  

الزهد لأحمد:١٧٩٨حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ قَالَ قَرَأْتُ عَلَى أَبِي حَدَّثَنَا خَلَفٌ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ الْوَلِيدِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ أَنْبَأَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ عَطِيَّةَ قَالَ

«جَلَسْتُ إِلَى سَالِمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ فَقُوِّمَتْ ثِيَابُهُ ونَعْلَيْهِ ثَلَاثَةَ عَشَرَ دِرْهَمًا أَوْ خَمْسَةَ عَشَرَ دِرْهَمًا»
