الزهد لأحمد:١٧٩٧ – حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ قَالَ قَرَأْتُ عَلَى أَبِي هَذِهِ الأَحَادِيثَ فَأَقَرَّ بِهَا وَقَالَ ارْوِهَا عَنِّي حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ حَدَّثَنَا هَارُونُ يَعْنِي الْبَرْبَرِيَّ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدٍ قَالَ قَدِمَ رَجُلٌ بَعْدَ وَفَاةِ عَائِشَةَ فَسَأَلَهُ عُبَيْدُ بْنُ عُمَيْرٍ كَيْفَ رَأَيْتَ وَجْدَ النَّاسِ عَلَيْهَا؟ قَالَ وَاللَّهِ مَا اشْتَدَّ وَجْدُهُمْ كُلَّ ذَلِكَ قَالَ

عُبَيْدُ بْنُ عُمَيْرٍ «إِنَّمَا يَحْزَنُ عَلَى عَائِشَةَ مَنْ كَانَتْ لَهُ أُمًّا»
