الزهد لأحمد:١٤٢٥ – حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُصْعَبٍ يَعْنِي هَذَا قَالَ سَمِعْتُ مَخْلَدَ بْنَ الْحُسَيْنِ ذَكَرَ أَنَّ الْعَلَاءَ بْنَ زِيَادٍ قَالَ لَهُ رَجُلٌ وَيْحَكَ رَأَيْتُكَ كَأَنَّكَ فِي الْجَنَّةِ قَالَ

«أَمَا وَجَدَ الشَّيْطَانُ أَحَدًا يَسْخَرُ بِهِ غَيْرِي وَغَيْرَكَ»
