adab:14ʿAbd al-Raḥmān b. Shaybah > Ibn Abī al-Fudayk > Mūsā > Abū Ḥāzim > Abū Murrah, mawlā Umm Hāniʾ bt. Abī Ṭālib

[AI] That he rode with Abu Hurayrah to his land in al-Aqiq. When he entered his land, he called out at the top of his voice: Peace be upon you, and the mercy of Allah and His blessings, my dear mother. She would say: And upon you be peace, and the mercy of Allah and His blessings. He would say: May Allah have mercy on you; you raised me when I was small. She would say: My dear son, and you—may Allah reward you with good, and may He be pleased with you, as you were dutiful to me when I was old.

[AI] Musa said: Abu Hurayrah’s name was Abdullah ibn Amr.
