[Machine] We asked Alqamah how was Abdullah's recitation at night and whether he would sleep with him. He said, "He would listen to the family of Uthbah while they were in a room in front of him."

الطبراني:٩٤٠١ – حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ

سَأَلْنَا عَلْقَمَةَ كَيْفَ كَانَتْ قِرَاءَةُ عَبْدِ اللهِ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ وَكَانَ يَبِيتُ عِنْدَهُ؟ قَالَ «كَانَ يُسْمِعُ آلَ عُتْبَةَ أَخِيهِ وَهُمْ فِي حُجْرَةٍ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ»
