سَأَلْنَا عَلْقَمَةَ كَيْفَ كَانَتْ قِرَاءَةُ عَبْدِ اللهِ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ وَكَانَ يَبِيتُ عِنْدَهُ؟ قَالَ «كَانَ يُسْمِعُ آلَ عُتْبَةَ أَخِيهِ وَهُمْ فِي حُجْرَةٍ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ»
