[Machine] I heard Abdullah say, "There is no statement I can speak to someone in power that will shield me from two lashes of the whip, except for the statement itself."  

الطبراني:٨٨٤٩حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى ثنا مُسَدَّدٌ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ أَبِي حَيَّانَ التَّيْمِيِّ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي عَنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ سُوَيْدٍ قَالَ

سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللهِ يَقُولُ «مَا مِنْ كَلَامٍ أَتَكَلَّمُ بِهِ لِذِي سُلْطَانٍ أَدْرَأُ عَنِّي مِنْهُ ضَرْبَتَيْنِ بِالسَّوْطِ إِلَّا كُنْتُ مُتَكَلِّمًا بِهِ»
