The Prophet ﷺ said, "If Allah loves ˹His˺ servant, He calls Jibrīl saying, 'Allah loves so and-so; O Jibrīl! Love him.' Jibrīl would love him and make an announcement amongst the inhabitants of the sky. 'Allah loves so-and-so, therefore you should also love him,' and so all the inhabitants of the sky would love him, and then he is granted the approval of the people on the earth."  

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ: «إِذَا أَحَبَّ اللَّهُ الْعَبْدَ نَادَى جِبْرِيلَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُحِبُّ فُلاَنًا فَأَحْبِبْهُ فَيُحِبُّهُ جِبْرِيلُ فَيُنَادِي جِبْرِيلُ فِي أَهْلِ السَّمَاءِ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُحِبُّ فُلاَنًا فَأَحِبُّوهُ فَيُحِبُّهُ أَهْلُ السَّمَاءِ ثُمَّ يُوضَعُ لَهُ الْقَبُولُ فِي الأَرْضِ.»  

The Prophet ﷺ said, "If Allah loves a person, He calls Gabriel saying: 'Allah loves so and so; O Gabriel, love him.' Gabriel would love him, and then Gabriel would make an announcement among the residents of the Heaven, 'Allah loves so-and-so, therefore, you should love him also.' So, all the residents of the Heavens would love him and then he is granted the pleasure of the people of the earth."  

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا أَحَبَّ اللَّهُ عَبْدًا نَادَى جِبْرِيلَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُحِبُّ فُلاَنًا فَأَحِبَّهُ فَيُحِبُّهُ جِبْرِيلُ فَيُنَادِي جِبْرِيلُ فِي أَهْلِ السَّمَاءِ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُحِبُّ فُلاَنًا فَأَحِبُّوهُ فَيُحِبُّهُ أَهْلُ السَّمَاءِ ثُمَّ يُوضَعُ لَهُ الْقَبُولُ فِي أَهْلِ الأَرْضِ  

Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "If Allah loves a person, He calls Gabriel, saying, 'Allah loves so and so, O Gabriel love him' So Gabriel would love him and then would make an announcement in the Heavens: 'Allah has loved so and-so therefore you should love him also.' So all the dwellers of the Heavens would love him, and then he is granted the pleasure of the people on the earth." (See Hadith No. 66, Vol. 8)  

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِنَّ اللَّهَ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى إِذَا أَحَبَّ عَبْدًا نَادَى جِبْرِيلَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ قَدْ أَحَبَّ فُلاَنًا فَأَحِبَّهُ فَيُحِبُّهُ جِبْرِيلُ ثُمَّ يُنَادِي جِبْرِيلُ فِي السَّمَاءِ إِنَّ اللَّهَ قَدْ أَحَبَّ فُلاَنًا فَأَحِبُّوهُ فَيُحِبُّهُ أَهْلُ السَّمَاءِ وَيُوضَعُ لَهُ الْقَبُولُ فِي أَهْلِ الأَرْضِ  

When Allah loves a servant, He calls Gabriel and says: Verily, I so and so; you should also love him, and then Gabriel begins to love him. Then he makes an announcement in the heaven saying: Allah loves so and so and you also love him, and then the inhabitants of the Heaven (the Angels) also begin to love him and then there is conferred honour upon him in the earth; and when Allah is angry with any servant He calls Gabriel and says: I am angry with such and such and you also become angry with him, and then Gabriel also becomes angry and then makes an announcement amongst the inhabitants of heaven: Verily Allah is angry with so-and so, so you also become angry with him, and thus they also become angry with him. Then he becomes the object of wrath on the earth also.  

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِنَّ اللَّهَ إِذَا أَحَبَّ عَبْدًا دَعَا جِبْرِيلَ فَقَالَ إِنِّي أُحِبُّ فُلاَنًا فَأَحِبَّهُ قَالَ فَيُحِبُّهُ جِبْرِيلُ ثُمَّ يُنَادِي فِي السَّمَاءِ فَيَقُولُ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُحِبُّ فُلاَنًا فَأَحِبُّوهُ فَيُحِبُّهُ أَهْلُ السَّمَاءِ قَالَ ثُمَّ يُوضَعُ لَهُ الْقَبُولُ فِي الأَرْضِ وَإِذَا أَبْغَضَ عَبْدًا دَعَا جِبْرِيلَ فَيَقُولُ إِنِّي أُبْغِضُ فُلاَنًا فَأَبْغِضْهُ قَالَ فَيُبْغِضُهُ جِبْرِيلُ ثُمَّ يُنَادِي فِي أَهْلِ السَّمَاءِ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُبْغِضُ فُلاَنًا فَأَبْغِضُوهُ قَالَ فَيُبْغِضُونَهُ ثُمَّ تُوضَعُ لَهُ الْبَغْضَاءُ فِي الأَرْضِ  

Yahya related to me from Malik from Suhayl ibn Abi Salih from his father from Abu Hurayra that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "If Allah loves a slave, he says to Jibril, 'I love so-and-so, so love him,' so Jibril loves him and then calls out to the people of heaven, 'Allah loves so-and-so, so love him,' and the people of heaven love him, and then acceptance is placed in the Earth for him." When Allah is angry with a slave, Malik said, "I consider that he says the like of that about His anger."  

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا أَحَبَّ اللَّهُ الْعَبْدَ قَالَ لِجِبْرِيلَ قَدْ أَحْبَبْتُ فُلاَنًا فَأَحِبَّهُ فَيُحِبُّهُ جِبْرِيلُ ثُمَّ يُنَادِي فِي أَهْلِ السَّمَاءِ إِنَّ اللَّهَ قَدْ أَحَبَّ فُلاَنًا فَأَحِبُّوهُ فَيُحِبُّهُ أَهْلُ السَّمَاءِ ثُمَّ يُوضَعُ لَهُ الْقَبُولُ فِي الأَرْضِ وَإِذَا أَبْغَضَ اللَّهُ الْعَبْدَ قَالَ مَالِكٌ لاَ أَحْسِبُهُ إِلاَّ أَنَّهُ قَالَ فِي الْبُغْضِ مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ  

When Allah loves a servant, He calls Gabriel and says: Verily, I so and so; you should also love him, and then Gabriel begins to love him. عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ إِنَّ اللهَ ﷻ إِذَا أَحَبَّ عَبْدًا دَعَا جِبْرِيلَ ﷺ فَقَالَ يَا جِبْرِيلُ إِنِّي أُحِبُّ فُلَانًا فَأَحِبَّهُ قَالَ فَيُحِبُّهُ جِبْرِيلُ قَالَ ثُمَّ يُنَادِي فِي أَهْلِ السَّمَاءِ إِنَّ اللهَ يُحِبُّ فُلَانًا قَالَ فَيُحِبُّهُ أَهْلُ السَّمَاءِ ثُمَّ يُوضَعُ لَهُ الْقَبُولُ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَإِنَّ اللهَ ﷻ إِذَا أَبْغَضَ عَبْدًا دَعَا جِبْرِيلَ فَقَالَ يَا جِبْرِيلُ إِنِّي أُبْغِضُ فُلَانًا فَأَبْغِضْهُ قَالَ فَيُبْغِضُهُ جِبْرِيلُ قَالَ ثُمَّ يُنَادِي فِي أَهْلِ السَّمَاءِ إِنَّ اللهَ يُبْغِضُ فُلَانًا فَأَبْغِضُوهُ قَالَ فَيُبْغِضُهُ أَهْلُ السَّمَاءِ ثُمَّ تُوضَعُ لَهُ الْبَغْضَاءُ فِي الْأَرْضِ  

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Indeed, when Allah loves a servant, He says to Gabriel: 'Verily, I love so-and-so, so you should love him.' Then Gabriel proclaims to the inhabitants of heaven: 'Verily, your Lord loves so-and-so, so you should love him.' So the inhabitants of heaven love him, and acceptance for him is placed on earth. And when Allah hates a servant, similar to that happens."  

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِنَّ اللهَ إِذَا أَحَبَّ عَبْدًا قَالَ لِجِبْرِيلَ إِنِّي أُحِبُّ فُلَانًا فَأَحِبَّهُ قَالَ فَيَقُولُ جِبْرِيلُ لِأَهْلِ السَّمَاءِ إِنَّ رَبَّكُمْ يُحِبُّ فُلَانًا فَأَحِبُّوهُ قَالَ فَيُحِبُّهُ أَهْلُ السَّمَاءِ قَالَ وَيُوضَعُ لَهُ الْقَبُولُ فِي الْأَرْضِ قَالَ وَإِذَا أَبْغَضَ فَمِثْلُ ذَلِكَ  

[Machine] On the authority of the Prophet ﷺ who said, "When Allah loves a servant, he calls Gabriel and says, 'Verily, I have loved so-and-so, so love him.' Then Gabriel loves him, and thereafter an announcement is made in the heavens, 'Verily, Allah loves so-and-so, so love him.' So the inhabitants of the heavens love him, and then acceptance is placed for him on earth. And when Allah hates a servant, he calls Gabriel and says, 'Verily, I have hated so-and-so, so hate him.' Then Gabriel hates him, and thereafter an announcement is made in the heavens, 'Verily, Allah hates so-and-so, so hate him.' So the inhabitants of the heavens hate him, and his hatred is placed on earth."  

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا أَحَبَّ اللهُ عَبْدًا دَعَا جِبْرِيلَ فَقَالَ إِنِّي قَدْ أَحْبَبْتُ فُلَانًا فَأَحِبَّهُ قَالَ فَيُحِبُّهُ جِبْرِيلُ قَالَ ثُمَّ يُنَادِي فِي السَّمَاءِ إِنَّ اللهَ قَدْ أَحَبَّ فُلَانًا فَأَحِبُّوهُ قَالَ فَيُحِبُّونَهُ قَالَ ثُمَّ يَضَعُ اللهُ لَهُ الْقَبُولَ فِي الْأَرْضِ فَإِذَا أَبْغَضَ فَمِثْلُ ذَلِكَ  

The Prophet ﷺ said, "If Allah loves a person, He calls Gabriel saying: 'Allah loves so and so; O Gabriel, love him.' [Machine] On the authority of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , he said: "When Allah loves a servant, he says to Gabriel, 'Verily, I love so-and-so, so love him.' And the dislike of Allah is then extended to the people on earth, and they also dislike him."  

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ إِذَا أَحَبَّ اللهُ عَبْدًا قَالَ يَا جِبْرِيلُ إِنِّي أُحِبُّ فُلَانًا فَأَحِبُّوهُ فَيُنَادِي جِبْرِيلُ فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ إِنَّ اللهَ ﷻ يُحِبُّ فُلَانًا فَأَحِبُّوهُ فَيُلْقَى حُبُّهُ عَلَى أَهْلِ الْأَرْضِ فَيُحَبُّ وَإِذَا أَبْغَضَ عَبْدًا قَالَ يَا جِبْرِيلُ إِنِّي أُبْغِضُ فُلَانًا فَأَبْغِضُوهُ فَيُنَادِي جِبْرِيلُ فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ إِنَّ اللهَ ﷻ يُبْغِضُ فُلَانًا فَأَبْغِضُوهُ فَيُوضَعُ لَهُ الْبُغْضُ فِي أَهْلِ الْأَرْضِ فَيُبْغَضُ  

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "There is a star in the sky, and when Allah loves a servant, He says: 'I love so-and-so, so you should love him.' Then the star descends upon the people of the earth."  

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ الْمِقَةُ فِي السَّمَاءِ فَإِذَا أَحَبَّ اللهُ عَبْدًا قَالَ إِنِّي أَحْبَبْتُ فُلَانًا فَأَحِبُّوهُ قَالَ فَتَنْزِلُ لَهُ الْمِقَةُ فِي أَهْلِ الْأَرْضِ  

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Verily, fate comes from Allah. He said, 'O partner, it is love and fame from the sky. So when Allah loves a servant, He says to Gabriel, 'I love so-and-so, so love him.' Then Gabriel announces, 'Indeed, Allah has loved so-and-so, therefore love him.' So the people on Earth love him as well. And when Allah dislikes a servant, He says to Gabriel, 'I dislike so-and-so, so dislike him.' Then Gabriel announces, 'Indeed, your Lord dislikes so-and-so, therefore dislike him.' So the people on Earth dislike him as well."  

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِنَّ الْمِقَةَ مِنَ اللهِ قَالَ شَرِيكٌ هِيَ الْمَحَبَّةُ وَالصِّيتُ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ فَإِذَا أَحَبَّ اللهُ عَبْدًا قَالَ لِجِبْرِيلَ إِنِّي أُحِبُّ فُلَانًا فَيُنَادِي جِبْرِيلُ إِنَّ اللهَيَمِقُ يَعْنِي يُحِبُّ فُلَانًا فَأَحِبُّوهُ أَرَى شَرِيكًا قَدْ قَالَ فَيُنْزِلُ لَهُ الْمَحَبَّةَ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَإِذَا أَبْغَضَ عَبْدًا قَالَ لِجِبْرِيلَ إِنِّي أُبْغِضُ فُلَانًا فَأَبْغِضْهُ قَالَ فَيُنَادِي جِبْرِيلُ إِنَّ رَبَّكُمْ يُبْغِضُ فُلَانًا فَأَبْغِضُوهُ قَالَ أَرَى شَرِيكًا قَدْ قَالَ فَيَجْرِي لَهُ الْبُغْضُ فِي الْأَرْضِ  

[Machine] From the Prophet ﷺ , he said, "Whenever Allah loves a servant, He calls upon Jibril (Gabriel) and says, 'Indeed, I have loved so-and-so, so you should love him.' Then Jibril announces to the inhabitants of the heavens, 'Indeed, Allah loves so-and-so, so you should love him.' Consequently, the dwellers of the heavens love him. Then acceptance is placed for him on earth. When Allah despises a servant, He says the same."  

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «إِنَّ اللَّهَ إِذَا أَحَبَّ عَبْدًا نَادَى جِبْرِيلَ إِنِّي قَدْ أَحْبَبْتُ فُلَانًا فَأَحِبَّهُ قَالَ فَيَقُولُ جِبْرِيلُ لِأَهْلِ السَّمَاءِ إِنَّ رَبَّكُمْ أَحَبَّ فُلَانًا فَأَحِبُّوهُ فَيُحِبُّهُ أَهْلُ السَّمَاءِ قَالَ وَيُوضَعُ لَهُ الْقَبُولُ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَإِذَا أَبْغَضَ عَبْدًا فَمِثْلُ ذَلِكَ»  

[Machine] From the Prophet of Allahﷺ he said, "When Allah loves a servant, He would say to Gabriel, 'I love so-and-so, so love him.' Then Gabriel would love him, and then call out in the heavens saying, 'Indeed, Allah loves so-and-so, so love him.' Then the inhabitants of the heavens would also love him. And then acceptance would be placed for him on earth. And when Allah dislikes a servant, Malik (the angel responsible for Hellfire) would say, 'I do not find him except that he has said the same.'  

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ «إِذَا أَحَبَّ اللَّهُ الْعَبْدَ قَالَ لِجِبْرِيلَ قَدْ أَحْبَبْتُ فُلَانًا فَأَحِبَّهُ فَيُحِبُّهُ جِبْرِيلُ ثُمَّ يُنَادِي فِي أَهْلِ السَّمَاءِ إِنَّ اللَّهَ قَدْ أَحَبَّ فُلَانًا فَأَحِبُّوهُ فَيُحِبُّهُ أَهْلُ السَّمَاءِ ثُمَّ يُوضَعُ لَهُ الْقَبُولُ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَإِذَا أَبْغَضَ اللَّهُ الْعَبْدَ قَالَ مَالِكٌ لَا أَحْسِبُهُ إِلَّا قَالَ فِي الْبُغْضِ مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ

[Machine] That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "When Allah loves a servant, He calls upon Gabriel and says: 'Indeed, I love so-and-so, so love him.' Then Gabriel loves him and calls out to the inhabitants of the heavens: 'Indeed, Allah loves so-and-so, so love him.' Then the acceptance of him is placed on earth, and he is loved by the people." أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا أَحَبَّ اللهُ عَبْدًا دَعَا جِبْرِيلَ فَقَالَ إِنِّي أَحْبَبْتُ فُلَانًا فَأَحِبُّوهُ فَيُحِبُّهُ جِبْرِيلُ ثُمَّ يُنَادِي جِبْرِيلُ أَهْلَ السَّمَاءِ إِنَّ اللهَ يُحِبُّ فُلَانًا فيُحِبُّوهُ ثُمَّ يَضَعُ لَهُ الْقَبُولَ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَفِي الْبُغْضِ مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ

11938 وَعَنْ عَبْدَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ عَنْ سُوَيْدِِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو الْكَلْبِيِّ عَنْ زُهَيْرِ بْنِ مُعَاوِيَةَ عَنِ الْعَلَاءِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ عَنْ سُهَيْلِ بْنِ أَبِي صَالِحٍ بِهِ

11939 وَعَنْ قُتَيْبَةَ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ مَالِكٍ عَنْ سُهَيْلِ بْنِ أَبِي صَالِحٍ بِهِ

11940 وَعَنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ مِسْكِينٍ عَنِ ابْنِ الْقَاسِمِ عَنْ مَالِكٍ عَنْ سُهَيْلِ بْنِ أَبِي صَالِحٍ بِهِ  

When Allah loves a servant, He calls Gabriel and says: Verily, I so and so; you should also love him, and then Gabriel begins to love him. "إِن الله ﷻ إِذا أحَبَّ عَبْدا دعَا جِبْريلَ فقال: إِنى أُحِب فلانًا فأَحِبه. فيُحِبه جبريل. ثم ينادى في السمَاءِ. فيَقول: إِن الله يحِب فلانًا فأَحِبوه. فيحبه أهل السماءِ. ثم يوضع له الْقبوَل في الأرضِ, وإذا أَبغض عبْدا دعا جِبْريل. فيَقول: إِنِّي أبغِض فلانًا فأبغِضه .. فيُبْغضه جبْريل. ثم يَنادى في أهلِ السمَاءِ: إِن الله يبغض فلانًا فأَبغِضوه فيُبغِضونه. ثم توضع له الْبَغضاءُ في الأرْضِ".  

"There is no servant but that he has a reputation in the sky. If his reputation is good, it will be placed upon the earth. If his reputation is evil, it will be placed upon the earth."  

"مَا مِنْ عَبْدٍ إِلا لهُ صيتٌ فِي السَّمَاءِ فَإِذا كان صِيتُهُ فِي السَّمَاءِ حَسَنا وُضِعَ لهُ في الأَرْضِ حسنًا، وَإذَا كانَ صيتُهُ فِي السَّمَاءِ سيِّئًا وُضِعَ لَهُ فِي الأَرْضِ".  

The Prophet ﷺ said, "If Allah loves a person, He calls Gabriel saying, 'Allah loves so and-so; O Gabriel! Love him.' Gabriel would love him and make an announcement amongst the inhabitants of the Heaven. 'Allah loves so-and-so, therefore you should love him also,' and so all the inhabitants of the Heaven would love him, and then he is granted the pleasure of the people on the earth." "إذا أحبَّ الله ﷻ عبدًا نادى جبريلَ: إن الله يحبُّ فلانًا فأحببه، فيحبُّه جبريلُ، فينادى جبريلُ في أهل السماءِ: إن الله يحبُّ فلانًا فأحبوه، فيحبُّه أهلُ السماءِ، ثمَّ يوضَعُ له القَبولُ في الأرضِ".  

"المِقَةُ من اللهِ، وَالصِّيتُ في السمَاءِ، فإذا أَحَب الله عَبدًا قال: يَا جبريل، إِنَّ رَبكَ يحب فَلانًا فَأحِبهَ، فَيُنَادى جِبْريل في السماءِ، إِنَّ ربَكم يحب فُلَانًا فأَحِبُّوه، فَيحبه أَهْلُ السَّمَاءِ، وَيُنزل لَهُ المحَبَّةً في الأَرْضِ، وإِذَا أَبْغَضَ عَبْدًا قال: لجبْريل إِنِّي أَبغَضُ فُلَانًا فَأَبْغضه، فَينُادِى جِبريلُ: إِنَّ رَبَّكُم ﷻ يُبغض فُلَانًا فأَبْغضوه فَيجْرِى لَهُ البُغْض فِي الأَرض".
