[Machine] A man asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ to encourage people to give charity until it could be seen in his face. Then a man from the Ansar came with a gift and presented it to the Prophet ﷺ. The joy could be seen in the face of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. He said, "Whoever establishes a good practice in Islam and someone practices it after him, both receive a reward for it and the reward of everyone who acts upon it does not diminish in any way. And whoever establishes a bad practice in Islam and someone practices it after him, carries the burden of both and the burden of everyone who acts upon it does not diminish in any way."

"I came to the Prophet when he was accepting (the people's) pledge, and said: 'O Messenger of Allah, extend you hand so that I may give you my pledge, and state your terms, for you know best.' He said: 'I accept you pledge that you will worship Allah, establish Salah, pay the Zakah, be sincere toward the Muslims, and forsake the idolaters." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 4177)

[Machine] I pledged allegiance to the Prophet ﷺ and he stipulated for me "to worship Allah alone without associating anything with Him, and to sincerely advise every Muslim."

[Machine] I came to the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and said, "O Messenger of Allah, set a condition for me, as you know my condition better than me, then extend your hand so that I can pledge allegiance to you." He said, "Worship Allah alone, associate nothing with Him, establish prayer, give zakat, advise the Muslim, and separate from the polytheist."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The emigrants (from Mecca) are allies to each other in this world and the Hereafter, and the freed slaves from the Quraysh and the emancipated from the Thaqif are allies to each other in this world and the Hereafter."

[Machine] A group of people from the desert came to the Prophet ﷺ seeking advice. The Prophet ﷺ encouraged people to give charity, but they hesitated until it was evident on the face of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. Then, a man from the Ansar came with a piece of gold, and he threw it. People started following one another in giving charity until joy became apparent on the face of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. He said, "Whoever starts a good tradition that is followed, then he will have a reward similar to those who follow it, without their rewards being diminished. And whoever starts an evil tradition that is followed, then he will bear the burden of sin and the burden of those who follow it, without their burdens being diminished."

[Machine] A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and asked him about Islam, so he said: "You bear witness that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, you establish prayer, give Zakat, fast in Ramadan, perform Hajj to the House, and love for people what you love for yourself and hate for people what you hate for yourself."

[Machine] We went out with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on our mounts from the city while it was devouring date pits. So, a person stood up and said, "This man does not have any provisions." The Prophet ﷺ hastened his pace and we hastened with him. Then, we found a young boy whose lips were cracked from eating the leaves of the trees, so he asked him, "Where are you going?" He replied, "I intend to meet Muhammad ﷺ in order to pledge allegiance to him." The Prophet ﷺ said, "I am Muhammad, I am the Messenger of Allah." The boy greeted him with peace and asked him to show him the way to Islam. The Prophet ﷺ said, "You bear witness that there is no god but Allah and that I am the Messenger of Allah, and you affirm what has come from Allah." The boy said, "I affirm." The Prophet ﷺ continued, "And you establish the prayer." The boy said, "I establish it." The Prophet ﷺ further said, "And you fast in Ramadan." The boy said, "I fast." The Prophet ﷺ then said, "And you perform pilgrimage to the House (of Allah)." The boy said, "I will perform it." Then, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ left. Ja`far said, "We surrounded him (the boy) in order to hear what he would be asked next." Then, the Prophet ﷺ left and we left. Then, Bilal's hands were caught in the legs of a rat and it bit him, so the Prophet ﷺ turned around and said, "Call the man." We found him with a bent neck and he had died. Then, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ came, looked at him, turned away from him with his face and said, "Carry him to the water." So, we washed him, wrapped him in a funeral shroud, and placed him in a coffin. Then, he said, "Dig a grave for him and make it deep, for the grave is ours and the partition is for others." He sat on his grave but did not tell us anything. Then, he said, "Shall I not inform you about this man? He is one of those who did little and earned a lot, those who Allah said about, 'Indeed, those who believed and did not mix their belief with injustice.' I turned away from him while two angels push down the fruits of paradise into his mouth."
