Kurayb the freed slave of Ibn Abbas reported: Abdullah ibn Abbas saw Abdullah ibn al-Harith praying having the back knot of the hair. He stood behind him and began to untie it. He remained standing unmoved (stationary). When he finished his prayer he came to Ibn Abbas and said to him: What were you doing with my head? He said: I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: A man who prays with the black knot of hair tied is the one praying pinioned. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 647)
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ saw a gold ring on the hand of a man, so he removed it and threw it away, and said: “Would one of you deliberately take an ember of fire and place it in his hand?” After the Messenger of Allah ﷺ left, it was said to the man, “Take your ring and benefit from it.” He said, “No, by Allah, I will not take it after the Messenger of Allah ﷺ has thrown it away.”
[Machine] A woman brought a young boy to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and asked, "Is this child performing Hajj?" He replied, "Yes, and you will be rewarded."
[Machine] While the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was walking on the road to Makkah, a woman from Muhaffa called out to him and grabbed the shoulder of a young boy and lifted him. She asked, "Is this boy performing Hajj, O Messenger of Allah?" He replied, "He will have the reward of Hajj, and you will also receive a reward."

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The noblest women of the people of Paradise after Maryam bint Imran are Fatimah, Khadijah, and Asiyah, the wife of Pharaoh."
[Machine] That the Prophet ﷺ sent Abu Bakr on the Hajj pilgrimage and he did not approach the Kaaba, but rather he went to Dhu al-Majaz and informed the people about their rituals and relayed to them the message of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ until they arrived at Arafat before Dhu al-Majaz. This was because they did not perform the Umrah before the Hajj.

[Machine] I slept in the house of my aunt Maymuna, the wife of the Prophet ﷺ. The Prophet ﷺ was there. I observed how the Prophet ﷺ prayed at night. Then the Prophet ﷺ spoke to his family for a while and then went to sleep. When it was the last third or half of the night, he got up and looked at the sky and recited, "Indeed, in the creation of the heavens and the earth and the alternation of the night and the day are signs for those of understanding" until he finished reciting these verses. Then he got up, performed ablution, brushed his teeth, and prayed eleven units of prayer. Then Bilal called the prayer for Fajr and he prayed two units of prayer. Then he left and prayed in congregation with the people for Fajr.
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The House in the heavens is called the Bait al-Ma'mur (Frequented House), and it is like the Kaaba on earth. If it were to fall, it would fall upon it. Every day, seventy thousand angels enter it who have never seen it before. It has in the heavens a sanctity equivalent to the sanctity of Makkah. He ﷺ said, 'And every day seventy thousand angels enter the House who will never enter it again.'"
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ received the revelation when he was forty years old. He remained in Makkah for thirteen years after that, and then migrated to Al-Madinah. He lived in Al-Madinah for ten years, and the Messenger of Allah passed away when he was sixty-three years old.
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ, when he ordered the people to perform Umrah during the Farewell Hajj, a man would come and say, "O Messenger of Allah, I am performing Hajj." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ would reply, "It is not Hajj, rather it is Umrah."
[Machine] I stayed at my aunt Maymuna bint al-Harith, the wife of the Prophet Muhammad. I saw him get up in the middle of the night and fulfill his needs. He then went to the Qirbah (a water container) and untied its rope. He performed ablution (wudu) between the two ablutions, and then went back to his bed and slept. He then went to the Qirbah again, untied the rope, and performed ablution. He prayed and I got up and did as he did. I approached him from his left, but he turned and made room for me on his right. He prayed either eleven or thirteen units (rak'ahs), and then fell asleep until he snored. I heard him say in his prostration, "O Allah, place light in my heart, light in my hearing, light in my vision, light behind me, light in front of me, light on my right, light on my left, light above me, light below me, and grant me the greatest light". He then slept until he snored, and Bilal came to him and called him for prayer, so he got up.
[Machine] I stayed at my aunt Maymuna bint al-Harith's house. The Prophet ﷺ woke up at night and went to the bathroom. He washed his face and hands, then stood up to pray at night. He went to the nearest water source and performed ablution between two ablutions, without excessive use of water. Then, he stood up to pray. He said, "I tried to make sure that he did not notice that I was observing him. Then, I stood up and did as he did. I stood on his left side, and he began to recite until he turned towards me and held my ear, so I was on his right side while he was praying. He completed his prayer with thirteen units of prayer, including the two units of the dawn prayer. Then, he lay down and slept until he snored. Bilal came and called for prayer, so he stood up, prayed, and did not perform ablution again."
[Machine] I stayed at my aunt's, Maimuna bint Al-Harith, the wife of the Prophet ﷺ. I said to myself, "I will observe the prayer of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and see how he performs it." He came from the mosque and entered the side of the house to fulfill his need, then he went to the nearest spot and released the straps of his sandals. He washed his face and hands, then he took his bed and stayed there as long as Allah willed. Then he stood up and came to the side of the house, then he came to the nearest spot and released the straps of his sandals. Then he performed ablution, a perfect ablution in between two ablutions, not exceeding the amount of water used in ablution, even though he had poured water generously. Then he came to the mosque and said, "I did as he did," then I stood to his left and he held my hand and extended it from behind me, and he made me stand to his right. He prayed eight units of prayer and concluded with three units of Witr. Then he performed two units of prayer and said, "O Allah, grant me light in my heart, light in my hearing, light in my sight, light in my hair, light in my skin, light in my flesh, light in my blood, light in front of me, light behind me, light to my right, light to my left, light beneath me, and light above me. O Allah, grant me light, make me light, and magnify the light for me."

[Machine] I stayed at my aunt Maymuna's house, and I watched the Messenger of Allah ﷺ to see how much he prayed. He stood for a while, then he approached the pitcher, untied his waistcloth, poured water into a basin or jug, and washed his face and arms. Then he slept for a while, then he woke up and performed a beautiful ablution between the two ablutions. He stood up to pray, and I approached and stood on his left side. He took hold of me and moved me to his right side, completing the Prophet's prayer ﷺ during the night with thirteen rak'ahs. Then he slept, and his sleep was known by his breath. He slept until he snored, then he got up to perform the prayer. During his prayer or supplication, he used to say, "O Allah, make light in my hearing, light in my sight, light in my heart, light on my right, light on my left, light in front of me, light behind me, light above me, light below me, and make light for me."

[Machine] Al-Qa'nabi narrated both of them from Malik bin Anas from Makhrama bin Sulaiman from Kurayb that Ibn Abbas informed him that he stayed overnight at his aunt Maimuna's house. He said, "She laid down on the width of the bed and the Prophet ﷺ and his family laid down on its length. The Prophet ﷺ slept until the middle of the night or a little before or after it. Then he woke up and sat down. He wiped the sleep off his face with his hands. Then he recited the last ten verses of Surah Al-Imran. Then he stood up and performed ablution from a hanging water-skin. He made his ablution perfectly, then he stood up to pray. I imitated what he did. Then I went and stood by his side. He placed his hand on my head and took hold of my earlobe, and twisted it. He prayed two rak'ahs, then two rak'ahs, then two rak'ahs, then two rak'ahs, and, finally, two more rak'ahs. Then he prayed Witr and lay down until the Mu'adhdhin came to him and he stood up and prayed two light rak'ahs. Then he prayed Fajr."

[Machine] I remained with Maymuna and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was with her that night. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ performed ablution and stood up to pray, so I moved away from his left side. He took hold of me and placed me on his right side, and he prayed thirteen units of prayer that night. Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ slept until he snored. When the Mu'adhdhin came to him, he got up and performed prayer without performing ablution.

[Machine] My father sent me to the Prophet ﷺ with a gift. So I went to him while he was in the house of Maymuna, and he made me lie down on a cushion until it was half the night. Then he stood up, looked at the sky, and recited the last verse of Surah Al Imran, "Indeed, in the creation of the heavens and the earth." He completed the recitation and then went to a container of suspended water, performed ablution, and washed himself. He did not spill much water, only a little. Then he motioned for me to stand up and I stood up and performed ablution. I stood to his left, and he turned me around, so I stood to his right. He recited the Quran while gently blowing into my ear. He prayed ten rak'ahs and then performed the Witr prayer. Then he went to sleep. When he slept, he would blow. Bilal came to him and woke him up for prayer. He stood and performed two light rak'ahs and then went out to pray.

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said: "There is no one who, when they want to be intimate with their spouse, says: 'In the name of Allah, O Allah, protect us from Satan and keep Satan away from what You have blessed us with.' Then, if they are blessed with a child, Satan will not harm that child."

The Prophet ﷺ entered the Kaʿba and found in it the pictures of (Prophet) Abraham and Mary. On that he said' "What is the matter with them ( i.e. Quraish)? They have already heard that angels do not enter a house in which there are pictures; yet this is the picture of Abraham. And why is he depicted as practicing divination by arrows?" (Using translation from Bukhārī 3351)

We knew the finishing of the prayer of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ through takbir. 'Amr (b. Dinar) said: I made a mention of it to Abu Mas'ud. hue he rejected it and said: I never narrated it to you. 'Amr said: He did narrate it before this. (Using translation from Muslim 583b)

Verily you would reach a community of the people of the Book, the very first thing to which you should call them is the worship of Allah, may His Glory be Magnificent, and when they become fully aware of Allah, instruct them that He has enjoined five prayers on them during the day and the night, and when they begin observing it, then instruct them that verily Allah has made Zakat obligatory for them which would be collected from the wealthy amongst them and distributed to their needy ones, and when they submit to it, then collect it from them and avoid (the temptation) of selecting the best (items) of their riches.
