Every condition that is not found in the Book of Allah is invalid. What a bad thing they insist upon!" Barirah had a husband and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ gave her the choice; if she wanted she could stay with her husband, and if she wanted she could separate from him, so she chose to separate from him. Later, the Prophet ﷺ entered and saw a goat and said to Aisha, "Why don't you cook this meat for us?" She said that she wanted to give it as charity for Barirah, so she gifted it to us. He said, "Cook it, for it is a charity for her and a gift to us."
