[Machine] A cooked lizard was gifted to some of the wives of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ . They sent it to the Prophet ﷺ , and he did not eat it. Khalid ibn al-Walid said, "O Messenger of Allah, is it forbidden, so should we leave it?" The Prophet ﷺ said, "No, but I find it repulsive."  

الطبراني:١١٧٧٠حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ ثنا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ثنا حُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ عَنْ زَائِدَةَ عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ

أُهْدِيَ لِبَعْضِ أَزْوَاجِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ ضَبٌّ نَضِجٌ فَبَعَثَتْ بِهِ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَأَكَلَ الْقَوْمُ وَلَمْ يَأْكُلِ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ فَقَالَ خَالِدُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ حَرَامٌ هُوَ فَنَتْرُكُهُ؟ قَالَ «لَا وَلَكِنِّي أَقْذُرُهُ»
