[Machine] Aisha bought Barirah from the Ansar in order to free her, and they stipulated that they would retain their loyalty to her. She agreed to that condition, and when the Prophet ﷺ came, she informed him. He said, "Loyalty belongs to the one who sets free." Then he went up the pulpit and said, "What is the matter with people who impose conditions which are not mentioned in the Book of Allah? Every condition that is not found in the Book of Allah is invalid. What a bad thing they insist upon!" Barirah had a husband and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ gave her the choice; if she wanted she could stay with her husband, and if she wanted she could separate from him, so she chose to separate from him. Later, the Prophet ﷺ entered and saw a goat and said to Aisha, "Why don't you cook this meat for us?" She said that she wanted to give it as charity for Barirah, so she gifted it to us. He said, "Cook it, for it is a charity for her and a gift to us."

Narrated 'Aishah (ra) that Barira came to seek her help writing of emancipation and she had to pay five Uqiya (of gold) by five yearly installments. 'Aishah said to her, "Do you think that if I pay the whole sum at once, your masters will sell you to me, and I will free you and your Wala' will be for me." Barira went to her masters and told them about that offer. They said that they would not agree to it unless her Wala' would be for them. 'Aishah further said, "I went to Messenger of Allah ﷺ and told him about it." Allah Messenger ﷺ said to her, "Buy Barira and manumit her and the Wala' will be for the liberator." Messenger of Allah ﷺ then got up and said, "What about those people who stipulate conditions that are not present in Allah's Laws? If anybody stipulates a condition which is not in Allah's Laws, then what he stipulates is invalid. Allah's Condition (Laws) are the truth and are more solid."

[Machine] "Aisha, the wife of the Prophet ﷺ , told him that Barira had come to seek assistance from her in writing a document. Aisha said to her, 'What if I make a condition that if I count for your family, who are entrusted to me, as only one person, will you then free yourself and become independent?'. Barira went to her family and presented this to them, and they responded, 'Unless you remain loyal to us'. Aisha then informed the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about this, and he said, 'Buy her and set her free, for loyalty belongs to the one who frees the slave'. Later that evening, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ stood up and said, 'What is the matter with people who impose conditions that are not in the Book of Allah? Know that whoever imposes a condition that is not in the Book of Allah, it has no validity. Even if such a condition is repeated a hundred times, the condition of Allah is more valid and reliable'."

[Machine] Aisha bought a female slave named Burayrah from the Ansar in order to set her free. They stipulated that she should make a contract with them, and she agreed to that. When the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ came, she informed him about the agreement, and he said, "Only those who set others free can have rights over them." Then he ascended the pulpit and said, "What is the matter with people who stipulate conditions that are not in the Book of Allah?" Burayrah had a husband, so the Messenger of Allah ﷺ gave her the option to stay with her husband or leave him. She chose to leave him, and the Prophet ﷺ entered her house, where he found a sheep's leg or hand. He asked Aisha, "Why don't you cook this meat for us?" She told him to confirm it from Burayrah, and then she gave it to him. He said, "Cook it, it is her charity, and we have a present."
