[Machine] I heard Abdullah saying when Uthman was appointed, "What color prevented us from reaching our highest position?"
[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "After me there will be twelve caliphs. Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq will not stay for long. The owner of the mill of the Arabs will live in peace and will be martyred." A man asked, "Who is he, O Messenger of Allah?" He said, "Umar ibn Al-Khattab." Then, he turned to Uthman and said, "And people will ask you to take off a shirt that Allah has clothed you with. By the One who holds my soul in His hand, if you take it off, you will not enter paradise until a camel enters the eye of a needle."
[Machine] Uthman migrated to the land of Abyssinia (Ethiopia) and with him was Ruqayyah, daughter of the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ . The news of their stay reached the Prophet, ﷺ , and he used to constantly inquire about them. He would leave the gathering and go perform ablution (wudu) when news of them would approach him. One day, a woman came and informed him about them. The Prophet, ﷺ , said, "Uthman is the first person to migrate to Allah with his family after Prophet Lot."

[Machine] "When the Prophet ﷺ sent Uthman to the people of Makkah, his companions pledged allegiance to him with the allegiance of Ridwan, 'pledging allegiance to Uthman with one hand on top of the other.' The people said, 'Congratulations to Abu Abdullah who will circumambulate the Kaaba in safety.' The Prophet ﷺ said, 'If he were to stay for this and that period, he would not have circumambulated until I do so.'"
ʿUthman bin ʿAffan ؓ said, speaking from his minbar: I am going to tell you a hadeeth that I heard from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ; nothing kept me from telling it to you except the fact that I care for you. I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: “Standing guard for one night for the sake of Allah, may He be exalted, is better than a thousand nights spent in prayer and [a thousand] days spent fasting.ʿ (Using translation from Aḥmad 463)
[Machine] Uthman asked the people one day and said, "Do you know that the Prophet ﷺ ascended Uhud with Abu Bakr, Umar, and I? And Muhammad, Abu Bakr, Umar, and Uthman were on Uhud." Then the Prophet ﷺ said, "Uhud remains firm for you, except for a Prophet, a truthful one, and two martyrs."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , said: "Everything has a surplus, except for the shade of a house, the edge of bread, and a garment that covers a man's private parts, or he said, the private parts of Ibn Adam (human being). And everything has a surplus, except for the one that Ibn Adam does not have a right to."
[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "Whoever prays the last Isha prayer in congregation, it is as if he had prayed the whole night, and whoever prays Fajr prayer in congregation, it is as if he had prayed the whole day."
