"اللَّهُمَّ اسْق بِلادَكَ وبَهَائِمَكَ، وَانْشُرْ رَحْمَتَكَ، وَأحْي بَلَدَكَ الْميِّتَ اللَّهُمَّ اسْقِنَا غَيثًا مُغِيثا مَرِيًّا مَرِيعًا طَبَقًا وَاسِعًا عَاجِلًا غَيرَ آجِلٍ نَافِعًا غَيرَ ضَارٍّ. اللَّهُمَّ اسْقِنَا سُقْيَا رَحْمَةٍ لَا سُقْيَا عَذَابٍ ولا هَدْمٍ وَلَا غَرَقٍ وَلَا مَحْقٍ. اللَّهُمَّ اسْقِنَا الْغَيثَ وانْصُرْنَا عَلَى الأعْدَاء".  

ابن سعد عن أبي وجزة السعدى. (لعله مرسل فإِنه من الطبقة لا من التابعين وقد وَرَدَ من حديث عمرو بن شعيب عن أبيه عن جده متصلا من حديث أبي القاسم على بن أحمد بن محمد بن بنان)

"اللَّهُمَّ اسْقِنَا غَيثًا مُغِيثًا هَنِيئًا مَرِيئًا عَاجِلًا غَيرَ رَائِث، نَافِعا غَيرَ ضارٍّ سُقْيَا رَحْمَة لا سُقْيَا عَذَاب وَلا هَدْمٍ وَلَا غَرَق، اللَّهُمَّ اسْقنَا الْغَيثَ وَانْصُرْنَا عَلَى الأعْدَاء (وَلَا تَجْعَلنَا مِنَ الْقَانِطِينَ) "
