"إِنَّ هذا اخترطَ سيفى وأَنا نَائم فاسَتيقظت وهو في يده صلْتًا، فقال لى: من يمنعُك مِنِّى؟ قلت: اللَّه. فها هو ذا جالسًا".  

[حم] أحمد [خ] البخاري [م] مسلم [ن] النسائي عن جابر، (قاله لأصحابه وقد دعاهم وعنده أَعرابىٌّ همَّ به سوءًا فلم يعاقبه، وكان ذلك في بعض غزواته)
