"عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ قَالَ: جَاءَ مَاعِزُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ إلى النَّبِىِّ ﷺ فَرَدَّهُ أَرْبَعَ مَرَّاتٍ ثُمَّ أَمَرَ به فرجم، فلما مسته الحجارة، جال وجزع، فبلغ النبى ﷺ فقال: هلا تركْتُموه".
