" أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ إِذَا سَمِعَ الْمُؤَذِّنَ قَالَ كَمَا يَقُولُ حَتَّى يَسْكُتَ".
[Machine] Narrated by the Prophet ﷺ , that whenever he heard the Mu'adhin (caller to prayer) calling the adhan (call to prayer), he would say the same words as he said, until he would stop.
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ كَانَ إِذَا سَمِعَ الْمُؤَذِّنَ يُؤَذِّنُ قَالَ كَمَا يَقُولُ حَتَّى يَسْكُتَ
[Machine] The translation of the given Arabic phrase into English is as follows:
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to say, when he heard the caller to prayer, he would repeat what the caller said until he became silent.
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ كَانَ إِذَا سَمِعَ الْمُؤَذِّنَ قَالَ كَمَا يَقُولُ حَتَّى يَسْكُتَ «»
ذِكْرُ مَا يَقُولُ الْمَرْءُ عِنْدَ سَمَاعِ الْأَذَانِ بِالصَّلَاةِ
“And I too, and I too”. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 526)
كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِذَا سَمِعَ الْمُؤَذِّنَ قَالَ «وَأَنَا وَأَنَا»
[Machine] It is narrated that the Prophet ﷺ used to say, "When he heard the muadh-dhin (the caller to prayer), he would repeat what the muadh-dhin said until he was silent."
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ «إِذَا سَمِعَ الْمُؤَذِّنَ قَالَ كَمَا يَقُولُ حَتَّى يَسْكُتَ»
[Machine] And that you listen to the Mu'adhin (caller to prayer) and do not say as he says.
وَأَنْ تَسْمَعَ الْمُؤَذِّنَ وَلَا تَقُولُ كَمَا يَقُولُ
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ used to say, when he was with me and heard the Adhan, he would repeat what the Adhan reciter says until he becomes silent.
«كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ إِذَا كَانَ عِنْدِي فَسَمِعَ الْأَذَانَ يَقُولُ كَمَا يَقُولُ حَتَّى يَسْكُتَ»
[Machine] About the Prophet ﷺ , "Whenever he heard the Mu'adhin, he used to repeat what he said until he would stop."
