"عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ: كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ إِذَا فَاتَتْهُ الأَرْبَعُ قَبْلَ الظُّهْرِ صَلَّاهَا بَعْدَ الظُّهْرِ، بَعْدَ الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ".

قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى حَدِيثُ عَلِيٍّ حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ قَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ الْعَطَّارُ قَالَ عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ قَالَ كُنَّا نَعْرِفُ فَضْلَ حَدِيثِ عَاصِمِ بْنِ ضَمْرَةَ عَلَى حَدِيثِ الْحَارِثِ وَالْعَمَلُ عَلَى هَذَا عِنْدَ أَكْثَرِ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ وَمَنْ بَعْدَهُمْ يَخْتَارُونَ أَنْ يُصَلِّيَ الرَّجُلُ قَبْلَ الظُّهْرِ أَرْبَعَ رَكَعَاتٍ وَهُوَ قَوْلُ سُفْيَانَ الثَّوْرِيِّ وَابْنِ الْمُبَارَكِ وَإِسْحَاقَ وَأَهْلِ الْكُوفَةِ وَقَالَ بَعْضُ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ صَلاَةُ اللَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ مَثْنَى مَثْنَى يَرَوْنَ الْفَصْلَ بَيْنَ كُلِّ رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَبِهِ يَقُولُ الشَّافِعِيُّ وَأَحْمَدُ

“If the Messenger of Allah ﷺ missed the four Rak’ah before the Zuhr, he would perform them after the two Rak’ah which come after the Zuhr.”
