"إِنَّ جِبْرِيلَ أَتانى آنفا فَبَشَّرنى أَنَّ اللَّهَ قد أَعطانى الشَّفَاعَةَ قيلَ: يا رسولَ اللَّه أَفى بني هاشم خاصَّةً؟ قال: لا، قيل: أَفى قريشٍ عامَّةً؟ قال: لا، قيل: أَفى أُمَّتِكَ؟ قالَ: هى فِي أُمَّتى، للْمُذْنِبِينَ الْمُثْقَلينَ".
