The Mountain of Uhud came in sight of Messenger of Allah ﷺ who then said, "This is a mountain that loves us and is loved by us. O Allah! Abraham made Mecca a sanctuary and I make the area between its (Medina's) two mountains a sanctuary."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ طَلَعَ لَهُ أُحُدٌ فَقَالَ هَذَا جَبَلٌ يُحِبُّنَا وَنُحِبُّهُ اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّ إِبْرَاهِيمَ حَرَّمَ مَكَّةَ وَإِنِّي أُحَرِّمُ مَا بَيْنَ لاَبَتَيْهَا

Ibrahim declared Mecca as sacred and I declare sacred the area between its two stony grounds (lava lands by which he meant Medina).

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِنَّ إِبْرَاهِيمَ حَرَّمَ مَكَّةَ وَإِنِّي أُحَرِّمُ مَا بَيْنَ لاَبَتَيْهَا يُرِيدُ الْمَدِينَةَ

Ibrahim declared Mecca as sacred; I declare Medina, that between the two mountains, as inviolable. No tree should be lopped and no game is to be molested.

قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ إِنَّ إِبْرَاهِيمَ حَرَّمَ مَكَّةَ وَإِنِّي حَرَّمْتُ الْمَدِينَةَ مَا بَيْنَ لاَبَتَيْهَا لاَ يُقْطَعُ عِضَاهُهَا وَلاَ يُصَادُ صَيْدُهَا

[AI] The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ prohibited between the two gateposts of Madinah to support or strike its trees.

حَرَّمَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَا بَيْنَ لَابَتَيْ الْمَدِينَةِ أَنْ يُعْضَدَ شَجَرُهَا أَوْ يُخْبَطَ

that (mount) Uhud appeared to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ so he said: "This mountain loves us and we love it. O Allah! Indeed Ibrahim made Makkah sacred, and I make sacred whatever is between its (i.e. Al-Madinah) two lava tracts." (Using translation from Tirmidhī 3922)

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ طَلَعَ لَهُ أُحُدٌ فَقَالَ هَذَا جَبَلٌ يُحِبُّنَا وَنُحِبُّهُ اللهُمَّ إِنَّ إِبْرَاهِيمَ حَرَّمَ مَكَّةَ وَإِنِّي أُحَرِّمُ مَا بَيْنَ لَابَتَيْهَا

[AI] The following passage translates to: "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ mentioned Mecca and said: 'Indeed, Ibrahim made Mecca forbidden, and indeed, I make what is between its two mountains (the area of Hajj) forbidden.'"

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ أَنَّهُ ذَكَرَ مَكَّةَ قَالَ إِنَّ إِبْرَاهِيمَ حَرَّمَ مَكَّةَ وَإِنِّي أُحَرِّمُ مَا بَيْنَ لَابَتَيْهَا

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِنَّ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ حَرَّمَ مَكَّةَ وَإِنِّي أُحَرِّمُ مَا بَيْنَ لَابَتَيْهَا يُرِيدُ الْمَدِينَةَ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade what is between its two sides.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ حَرَّمَ مَا بَيْنَ لَابَتَيْهَا

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prohibited hunting it.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ حَرَّمَ صَيْدَهَا

[AI] That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade what is between the close relatives.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ حَرَّمَ مَا بَيْنَ لَابَتَيْهَا

Yahya related to me from Malik from Amr, the mawla of al-Muttalib from Anas ibn Malik that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saw Uhud and said, "This is a mountain which loves us and we love it. O Allah! Ibrahim made Makka Haram, and I will make what is between the two tracts of black stones (in Madina) a Haram."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ طَلَعَ لَهُ أُحُدٌ فَقَالَ هَذَا جَبَلٌ يُحِبُّنَا وَنُحِبُّهُ اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّ إِبْرَاهِيمَ حَرَّمَ مَكَّةَ وَأَنَا أُحَرِّمُ مَا بَيْنَ لاَبَتَيْهَا

قَالَ قَالَ رَسُول اللهِ ﷺ اللهم إني عَبدك ورسولك وإني حرمت ما بين لابتيها كما حرم إبراهيم مكة

[AI] "That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prohibited what lies between the two lava fields of Madinah."

«أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ حَرَّمَ مَا بَيْنَ لَابَتَيِ الْمَدِينَةِ»

[AI] He heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ mentioning Makkah and he said, "Indeed, Ibrahim has declared Makkah as sacred, and I declare sacred what is between its two mountains." He meant Madinah.

أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ وَذَكَرَ مَكَّةَ فَقَالَ «إِنَّ إِبْرَاهِيمَ حَرَّمَ مَكَّةَ وَإِنِّي أُحَرِّمُ مَا بَيْنَ لَابَتَيْهَا» يُرِيدُ الْمَدِينَةَ

[AI] "It is narrated that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ heard about Mecca and said, 'Indeed, Ibrahim ﷺ made Mecca sacred, and I make what is between its two mountains sacred.' He meant Medina."

أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ وَذَكَرَ مَكَّةَ فَقَالَ «إِنَّ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ حَرَّمَ مَكَّةَ وَإِنِّي أُحَرِّمُ مَا بَيْنَ لَابَتَيْهَا» يُرِيدُ الْمَدِينَةَ

[AI] He heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ mention Mecca, so he said, "Indeed, Ibrahim (Abraham) made Mecca sacred, and I will make what is between its two mountains sacred for Medinah."

أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ وَذَكَرَ مَكَّةَ فَقَالَ «إِنَّ إِبْرَاهِيمَ حَرَّمَ مَكَّةَ وَأَنَا أُحَرِّمُ مَا بَيْنَ لَابَتَيْهَا لِلْمَدِينَةِ»

[AI] "That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prohibited what is between the garment and the body."

Note: The passage refers to a saying or teaching of the Prophet Muhammad, indicating that he forbade wearing clothing that tightly clings to the body.

«أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ حَرَّمَ مَا بَيْنَ لَابَتَيْهَا»

[AI] "That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prohibited what is between the two Haras of Al-Madinah, meaning what is between its two boundaries."

«أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ حَرَّمَ مَا بَيْنَ لَابَتَيْ الْمَدِينَةِ» يَعْنِي مَا بَيْنَ حَرَّتَيْهَا

[AI] It means that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prohibited hunting it.

«أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ حَرَّمَ صَيْدَهَا» يَعْنِي الْمَدِينَةَ

[AI] "That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prohibited the temporary marriage of women."

«أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ حَرَّمَ مُتْعَةَ النِّسَاءِ»

[AI] "That the Prophet ﷺ forbade what is between the two hills of Madinah."

«أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ» حَرَّمَ مَا بَيْنَ لَابَتَيِ الْمَدِينَةِ

Ibrahim declared Mecca as sacred; I declare Medina, that between the two mountains, as inviolable. No tree should be lopped and no game is to be molested. (Using translation from Muslim 1362)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِنَّ إِبْرَاهِيمَ حَرَّمَ بَيْتَ اللهِ وَأَمَّنَهُ وَإِنِّي حَرَّمْتُ الْمَدِينَةَ مَا بَيْنَ لَابَتَيْهَا لَا يُصْطَادُ صَيْدُهَا وَلَا يُقْطَعُ عِضَاهَا»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Indeed, Ibrahim has made Makkah a sacred place, and I am making everything between its two mountains sacred, intending to include Madinah."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِنَّ إِبْرَاهِيمَ حَرَّمَ مَكَّةَ وَإِنِّي أُحَرِّمُ مَا بَيْنَ لَابَتَيْهَا يُرِيدُ الْمَدِينَةَ

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ said, "Indeed, Ibrahim ﷺ prohibited Makkah (from hunting) and indeed, I have prohibited the area between its two lava fields (from hunting). Its vegetation should not be cut, and its game should not be scared away."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِنَّ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ حَرَّمَ مَكَّةَ وَإِنِّي حَرَّمْتُ الْمَدِينَةَ مَا بَيْنَ لَابَتَيْهَا لَا يُقْطَعُ عِضَاهُهَا وَلَا يُنَفَّرُ صَيْدُهَا

"إِنَّ الله حرَّمَ عَلَى لِسَانِى مَا بَينَ لَابَتِى الْمَديِنَةِ ".

Ibrahim declared Mecca as sacred; I declare Medina, that between the two mountains, as inviolable. No tree should be lopped and no game is to be molested. (Using translation from Muslim 1362)

"إِنَّ إِبْراهِيمَ حرمَّ بيْتَ اللَّهِ ﷻ، وأَمَّنَهُ، وإِنِّى حرَّمتُ المدِينةَ -مَا بيْنَ لابتيْها- لَا يُقْلَعُ عِضَاهُهَا، ولَا يُصادُ صَيْدُهَا ".

"إِنَّ إِبْراهِيمَ حرَّم بَيْتَ اللَّهِ وأَمَّنَهُ، وإِنِّى حرَّمتُ المدِينةَ -مَا بيْنَ لَابَيْهَا- فَلَا يُصادُ صَيْدُهَا، ولَا يُقطَعُ عِضَاهُهَا".

"إِنَّ إِبْرَاهِيمَ حَرَّمَ مَكَّةَ، وإِنِّى أُحَرمُ المَدِينَةَ، وَهِىَ -حَرَامٌ مَا بيْن لابَتَيْهَا- حُرْمَتَهَا ".

"إِنِّى حَرَّمْتُ مَا بَيْنَ لابتى المدِينَةِ كَمَا حَرَّمَ إِبْراهِيمُ مكَّةَ".

"حُرِّمَ مَا بَيْنَ لَابَتَى الْمَدِينَةِ عَلَى لِسَانى".

"لِكُلِّ نَبِيٍّ حَرَمٌ، وَإِنِّي قَدْ حَرَّمتُ الْمَدِينَةَ كَمَا حَرَّمَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ مَكَّةَ مَا بَينَ حَرَّتيهَا حَرَامٌ".

"مَا بَينَ لابَتَى الْمدِينَةِ حَرَامٌ".

"عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رسُول الله ﷺ : "إِنِّى أُحَرِّمُ بَيْنَ لاَبَتَىْ الْمَدِينَةِ كَمَا حَرَّمَ إبْرَاهيمُ مَكَّةَ".

"عَنْ رَافِعِ بْنِ خَدِيجٍ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ الله ﷺ ذَكَرَ مَكَّةَ فَقَالَ: إِنَّ إبْرَاهِيمَ حَرَّمَ حَرَمَ مَكَّةَ، وَإِنِّى أُحَّرَمُ مَا بَيْنَ لَا بَتَيْهَا (*) - لِلْمَدِينَةِ".

"عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ الله ﷺ حَرَّمَ مَا بَيْنَ لاَبَتِى المَدِينَةِ مِن الصَّيْدِ وَالعِضَاه (*) ".

" عَنْ عُبَادَةَ - وَكَانَ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ الله ﷺ قَالَ: إِنَّ رَسُولَ الله ﷺ حَرَّمَ مَا بَيْنَ لابَتَي المَدينَة، كَمَا حَرمَ إِبْرَاهيمُ مَكَّةَ".
